Thank you for choosing Farrow & Ball Home Colour Consultation Service. In order to arrange for a visit by a Farrow & Ball Colour Consultant, the following terms and conditions must be agreed to:

1. The Home Colour Consultation Service is charged at $250.00 per hour payable at the time of booking ($250.00 for first hour, subsequent charges of $125.00 for half hours bookable thereafter). For this fee you will receive a visit to your home to discuss colour schemes and for us to establish the measurements of the room.

The Colour Consultant will discuss colour, style and appropriate usage of Farrow & Ball paints, wallpapers and paint finishes. You will then be provided with product estimates for the suggested schemes.

The minimum booking time is one hour. If your consultation lasts less than one hour no refund shall be made. If it lasts more than one hour an additional charge may be made. Additional charges are payable within 14 days. In the event that the Colour Consultant is required to travel outside the Showroom trading area (10 miles) the consultation will be subject to a minimum 2-3 hour consultation and travel expenses will be either payable at $0.575 per mile or payable at the cost of any direct travel expenses incurred for transportation to and from the consultation.

2. The Home Colour Consultancy Service is an aesthetic advisory service only, providing advice in relation to colour schemes. Drawings illustrating the design are not provided, nor are any project management services included. The cost of paint and wallpaper and associated labour is not included in the hourly fee. Our fees are payable regardless of whether or not you decide to proceed with our Colour Consultant’s proposed scheme.

3. Farrow & Ball Home Colour Consultation Service will advise only in relation to its own products. Farrow & Ball will not source or give advice on non-Farrow & Ball products.

4. If consultation is cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled appointment, the $250.00 hourly fee is non-refundable. If cancelled with more than 24 hours notice, we will offer to reschedule.

The Colour Consultant will use reasonable endeavours to attend on the day and at the time agreed. However neither Farrow & Ball nor the Consultant shall be liable in relation to any scheduling matter (e.g. cancelled or late arrival for an appointment).

5. In the event that you are dissatisfied with any proposed or completed scheme, neither Farrow & Ball nor the Colour Consultant will have any liability or obligation to refund any amounts to you. Please therefore ensure that you are fully satisfied with the proposed colour scheme before the consultation finishes and before placing your order. If in any doubt we advise you to try our samples. If you have any complaint about this service you should raise it in the first instance with your local showroom. If it cannot be settled within a reasonable period of time then the matter will be referred to Farrow & Ball senior management.

6. In the interest of security and/or training it may occasionally be deemed appropriate to send an extra member of the Farrow & Ball team to accompany the Colour Consultant. We sincerely hope that this does not offend. You will not be charged a separate fee for this additional team member.

7. Your Farrow & Ball Colour Consultant/Showroom will be your point of contact regarding your order(s). It is not the responsibility of a Colour Consultant to be on site for any reason other than to provide the colour consultancy services, such as, for example, to meet deliveries, to evaluate products or to meet with other service providers.

8. Estimates of product quantities are provided in good faith based on the measurements of our Colour Consultants, but there shall be no liability for excess or insufficient quantities. We advise that your contractor checks and confirms quantities and choice of all products prior to placing your order. Advice given in relation to application is also given in good faith without liability but you should confirm your individual requirements with your contractor.

9. Without limiting any of the foregoing provisions (including, without limitation, paragraphs 5, 6 and 8) and to the extent permitted by applicable law, neither Farrow & Ball nor the Colour Consultant shall be liable for any loss or damage, including consequential, indirect, special or incidental damages howsoever arising, related to the Colour Consultancy relationship. The maximum liability of Farrow & Ball in connection with all matters related to the Colour Consultancy relationship shall be limited to the actual amounts paid by you to Farrow & Ball.

10. These terms and conditions and the relationship between you and Farrow & Ball shall be governed by and enforced in courts located in the State of New York. The relationship between you and Farrow & Ball (including the Colour Consultant) will be exclusively that of independent contractors and neither party shall be an employer, agent or partner of the other.
