In 2012, upon disclosing its first Sustainability Report, EY made clear its commitment to corporate social responsibility. The firm became the first one in the service industry to state information at highest level of transparency – Level A –, according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) criteria. GRI is the organization in charge of spreading the guidelines for preparation of sustainability reports.

In the following year, EY reinforced its commitment to disclose the Sustainability Report with independent audit, and obtained Level A+ according to GRI criteria.

In 2014, we disclosed the report by the G4 version of the GRI, which focuses on the priority subjects for each organization. The initiative legitimates EY as a pioneer, since the report for the G4 version is only required from 2015.

Our three sustainability pillars – Education, Entrepreneurship and Environment – are intimately related to our purpose of building a better working world. Through them, we seek to have a positive social and economic impact on our people, our clients and our communities.

Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY)

First held in 1986, in the United States, the EOY is the main entrepreneurship award in the world. It currently takes place in 50 countries, which account for over 90% of the global economy. It started in Brazil in 1998 and has recognized more than 200 Brazilian entrepreneurs henceforth.

CEO Summit

The event, held by both EY and Endeavor, takes place on an annual basis in several Brazilian capital cities, and gather major entrepreneurs, investors and top executives to discuss management practices, strategies and market trends and to share inspiring stories.

Winning Women

One of the program goals is to create an influent women entrepreneur network and have them share their stories in Brazil and in the world, in addition to strengthening their leadership skills and identifying opportunities for growth. A group of women entrepreneurs is annually selected to join the program.

Women Athletes Global Leadership Network
