The development of body armour pretty much paralleled the development of weapons, the better the weapon the better the protection, however today's body armour does have its limitations as manufactures strive to offer the best battle field protection without sacrificing mobility.

We really had high hopes for this plate carrier, and it just goes to show you how wrong you can be sometimes. As a version of PT armour (that was featured in the first part of this series) it should not be a strange kind of woodland camo, Tan and OD we might

have got away with, but defiantly not woodland! However, at its throwaway price point, we see what is described as a standard body armour used by Navy SEALs and Delta Force as very much an instruction to Airsoft Skirmishing kind of kit. A full Torso plate carrier made from 600D heavy-duty nylon constructed around two large plate pockets (front and back) and featuring enough Velcro real-estate to hang your entire patch collection. Two foam inserts (plates) give this slick (to coin a phrase) plate carrier its shape.

This plate carrier has no magazine carrying capabilities and is best used in conjunction with a chest rig or belt rig and is ideal for an entry-level player that's just starting to explore the tactical gear World.
