The Nile River is the longest river in the world. It stretches through Egypt and parts of other countries. The Nile River brought life to Egypt.

Osiris

Osiris, the Egyptian god of the underworld. He was very important to the Egyptians. His brother Set was very jealous of him. So one day set tricked Osiris to get in a coffin, and when he did he threw him in the Nile river to die! That’s when he became the god of the underworld.

Osiris Osiris was the god of the dead, and ruler of the underworld.
