Clothes:

• Formals as mentioned by Placement committee

• Carry at least 4-5 shirts

• 2 trousers should suffice

• 2-3 pair socks (you get those black transparent ones which are thin) to wear with formal shoes. Suggesting that since it will be comfortable

• One black blazer should suffice

• Casuals

• Jeans, t shirts, Casual trousers, casual shirts(for regular classes)

• Capris and shorts (for after classes)

• Underclothes

Party wear: formal party-wear

• Nightwear

• For the summers – loose fitting thin material, preferably cotton shorts, t shirts, or whatever you are comfortable in

Shoes – one bathroom slippers, one pair of sports shoes, (if you are into sports or exercise), and rest your choice – sandals, casual shoes, semi- formal shoes etc. One pair of the mentioned formal shoes (Oxford shoes)

• Bedsheets, pillow covers, a bedsheet to cover yourself once the weather gets a little cooler. Get single bedsheets since you will have a single bed.

• Hangers to hang your clothes

• Paper to put in your wardrobes before laying out your stuff

• Medicines - crocin, painkillers, disprin, pudin hara, plus whatever you may be prescribing to. There is no chemist on campus(though a general physician is present) so carry those medicines for sure which you might need urgently at any point of time

• Speakers/music player (optional)

• Novels if you read and if you get the time

• Sunglasses if that helps you beat the heat

• A plate, knife, spoon, fork, a glass, a mug, water bottles (plastic)

• Dry fruit and namkeen to munch on

• Detergent sachets and brush to wash undergarments

• A liquid dishwasher and scrub for utensils

• 2 -3 bags for college, medium sized which can accommodate books or registers

• Hand sanitizer, wet tissues, deodorants and perfumes

Tips:

The first few months are most likely very hot and hence pack accordingly. During the Diwali break you can get your blankets and winter clothes for the oncoming winter season
