PERFORMANCE OIL CONTROLRacing Oil Pan Baffles

The GM LS family small blocks are prone to oil starvation at high Gs, especially at higher RPMs where oil aeration and windage is

more prevalent. Proper oil pan baffling is critical for improving oil control and reducing oil starvation in these engines.

Improved Racing’s baffles provide very effective, track-proven protection against oil starvation for road racing, drifting, autocross, drag

racing and even off-roading and rock crawling. The baffles use purpose built trap doors to keep oil around the pickup tube and provide

vastly improved oil control over the stock baffle. These baffles bolt directly into the factory oil pan and are track-proven to prevent oil

pressure drops up to 1.4 sustained lateral G’s in most vehicles.

The factory cast aluminum oil pan is considered a structural member of the engine block. Aftermarket sheet metal oil pans are often prone to leaks or failure. By adding trap door baffling to the factory oil pan, we are able to achieve oil control performance equivalent to aftermarket pans at a lower cost and without compromises.

All of Improved Racing's baffles are manufactured in the USA from light-weight aluminum, saving over one pound of weight over the factory baffle in many applications. All baffles come with a lifetime warranty.

Crankshaft scrapers (also known as crank wipers) help reduce oil starvation by closely contouring the crankshaft and rods to remove excess oil, ensuring more oil makes it to the bottom of the sump. Crank scrapers also help reduce parasitic drag and windage losses caused by excess oil on the crank, which reduces rotational mass and results in a typical gain of 2-5 horsepower at the wheels. Improved Racing's scrapers are designed to work in conjunction with the factory windage tray to improve oil control.

The LS1 Camaro / Firebird crank scraper is designed to help improve oil control in the 4th generation F-Body oil pan. Due to the shallow front sump, these oil pans must be used with a 3/4-length windage tray, sacrificing oil control below the first two cylinders of the engine. This crank scraper features additional baffling and a louver to help make-up for the lack of oil control below the first two cylinders.

Low-Profile Oil Cooler Adapter for LS EnginesImproved Racing's GM LS-series oil cooler adapter is designed to provide more header clearance than any other adapter on the market. The aluminum gasket was replaced with Viton O-rings, providing additional clearance while still ensuring a reliable seal. The mounting holes are counter-bored so the mounting bolts fit flush with the adapter surface for maximum clearance. The adapter is constructed out of 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a black anodized finish.

The adapter features two 1/8" NPT ports for sensors or a turbo oil supply line. This adapter also features standard female -08AN O-ring boss ports and includes anodized adapter fittings options for -8AN, -10AN or -12AN lines. The adapter can be mounted upside down on the 5th generation Camaro / G8 oil pan for additional header and knock sensor clearance.

Oil Cooler Adapter for LS1 / LS2 Pontiac GTOImproved Racing designed this oil cooler adapter specifically for the LS1 and LS2 Pontiac GTO. It's innovative design makes it the only adapter on the market that is 100% bolt-on, with no oil filter relocation required. This adapter is con-structed out of 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a black anod-ized finish.

OIL ThermostatsFLOW SERIES MOTORSPORT

High performance vehicles require large oil coolers to ensure that the oil does not overheat during strenuous use. These coolers also introduce the possibility of over-cooling the oil and delaying engine warm-up during less strenuous use, resulting in horsepower loss, excessive engine wear and reduced gas mileage. Oil thermostats perform the critical function of bypassing the oil cooler until the oil has reached its minimum operating temperature.

Improved Racing’s Flow Series Motor Sport (FSM) oil thermostat is a universal solution that can be used with any oil cooler on any vehicle. The device’s unique patent-pending internal design - the result of over a year of research and development - ensures a low pressure drop by placing the bypass valve mechanism completely out of the primary oil flow. This arrangement also allows for a compact design.

This thermostat is designed for use with oil, transmission and differential coolers and is available in multiple temperatures. It features female -10AN O-ring boss threads and is available with optional fittings in -06AN, -08AN, -10AN, -12AN or 3/8” hose barbs. The included brackets allow for multiple mounting options as shown on the adjacent page.

The adapter features an 1/8" NPT port for an oil sensor/turbo oil supply or the optional M12x1.50 sensor port accepts the factory C5 Corvette oil temperature sensor. The unit features standard female -08AN O-ring boss ports and is available with anodized adapter fittings for -08AN, -10AN or -12AN lines. The thermostat be mounted upside down on the 2010+ Camaro / G8 oil pan for additional header and knock sensor clearance.

Oil Accumulator Adapter

Oil Accumulator Installation Kit for C5 Corvette

Improved Racing's oil accumulator adapter makes it easy to plumb an Accusump to your GM LS-series engine. The unit bolts to the factory oil pan and accepts a standard -08AN, -10AN, or -12AN line to your Accusump.

EGM-116 features two 1/8" NPT ports for oil temperature or pressure sensors, or for a turbo oil feed supply line.

EGM-117 features an M12x1.5mm sensor port that accepts the factory C5 Corvette oil temperature sensor. It also features an additional 1/8" NPT port for aftermarket sensors or a turbo oil supply line.

This oil accumulator kit is designed for 1997-2004 Corvettes where an oil cooler isn’t being used. If using an oil cooler, please see our Universal Oil Accumulator Installation Kit, which tee’s into the oil cooler line.

VCM's over-the-radiator cold air intake kit offers huge horsepower gains by maximizing air flow with a straight ram-air design and massive K&N filter. Because air is pulled in over the radiator, it also feeds much cooler air into your engine than other intakes, resulting in even more horsepower gains. Molded from high-quality, OEM style molded plastic, VCM's kits are some of the nicest on the market and are known for being mistaken as a factory part.

These kits can be installed with simple hand tools in about 45 minutes. The radiator must be tilted back very slightly and upper radiator mounting brackets are included to achieve the required angle. They can be used with aftermarket MAFs and throttle bodies, but may require aftermarket silicone couplers. We offer couplers that allow this kit to work with Magnuson superchargers. These intakes can also be used in a MAF-less setup using our adapter kit, sold separately.

Lowering a vehicle or adjusting corner weights often results in undesired sway bar preload, negatively affecting the vehicle’s handling. These end links allow you to eliminate preload and properly corner-weigh your vehicle. RaceFlux Lightweight Racing Hose

Aeroquip’s FC333 Racing Hose is the original stainless braided hose. It's constructed from elastomer tube with a partial stainless steel wire inner braid and a full stainless steel outer braid reinforcement. Rated for -55°F to +300°F (-49°C to 150°C).

This fuel specific hose takes advantage of a synthetic Fluoroelastomer liner to make it compatible with racing fuels as well as ethanol-based fuels (E85+), diesels and bio-diesels. With the addition of ethanol to all pump gas, this lined hose is beneficial in protecting against deterioration leading to fuel permeation (gas smell) and dry hardened hose.

The operating temperature range for this hose is -30°F (-34°C) to 300°F (148°C) and the maximum operating pressure is 250 PSI (1,724 kPa).

RaceFlux's racing hose is 30% lighter than traditional stainless braided hose and is much easier to assemble and work with.

The hose has an abrasion resistant Nylon cover with a smooth bore synthetic rubber interior. It also has a minimal stainless inner braid for added strength, which helps prevent the hose from collapsing or kinking and makes it suitable for vacuum applications. Suitable for use with oil, fuel, coolant, water and air. Compatible with traditional taper style hose end fittings.

The operating temperature range for this hose is -30°F (-34°C) to 300°F (148°C) and the maximum operating pressure is 250 PSI (1,724 kPa).

Shipping LIFETIME WarrantyPayment and Fees• Free shipping! Retail orders totalling $199.00 or more ship

free within the United States.• For a shipping cost estimate, use the Shipping Cost

Estimate Tool in the shopping cart.• Orders paid with an e-check will not ship until the payment

has cleared. This typically takes 3-7 business days.

Lead Times & Schedule• Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days unless

2-day or overnight shipping is selected, in which case we will expedite processing. Some non-stocked and special order parts, including most GM factory parts and some oil coolers, may take up to 7 business days to ship.

• Orders typically ship at the end of the business day, approximately 4 PM EST. The cut-off time for same day shipping is 12:00 PM EST for Ground and International shipments and 3:00 PM EST for 2-day and Overnight shipments.

• Holiday Schedule - We are closed and do not ship on the following holidays:◊ New Year's Day◊ Memorial Day◊ Independence Day◊ Labor Day◊ Thanksgiving Day◊ Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Shipping Methods• We offer standard ground, 2-day, and overnight shipping

options to most regions.• The carriers we typically use include UPS, FedEx, DHL and

United States Postal Service (USPS).• When free shipping is available and selected by the

customer, the item will be shipped using the most economical shipping method available.

International Orders• We ship worldwide.• Please note that we cannot control customs clearance

delays for international shipments. In some rare cases shipments can take a month or more to clear customs and reach the customer.

• To avoid shipping delays, we recommend selecting the Express shipping method for international orders.

Shipping Insurance• All shipping prices are quoted with insurance included.

Should your order be damaged during shipping, the customer must cooperate with Improved Racing to process a claim. Improved Racing will be responsible for reshipping/repairing the order or issuing the customer a refund in a timely manner.

Terms of SaleBy purchasing a product manufactured by Improved Racing Products, the purchaser agrees to the following terms:

• While care was taken in the design and development of our products, racing is a dangerous activity and the purchaser assumes all risk and liability associated with the use of our products. These risks include but are not limited to damage, loss, injury or death.

• Improved Racing Products, LLC and its owner(s) are not liable for any losses or damages of any kind incurred while using our products.

• The purchaser agrees to the terms in our Return Policy and our Privacy Policy.

• The purchaser agrees to any additional terms and conditions stated in the product's manual.

That said, we will make every effort to make sure our customers are completely satisfied with our products. You, the customer, are our number-one priority. Thanks for doing business with us, and we hope you enjoy our products!

Return PolicyWe offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all products we sell except GM factory parts (unless defective or damaged during shipping). If you are unsatisfied with one of our products for any reason, you may return it for a full refund within 30-days.

All returns must be pre-authorized. Returned products must be shipped at customer’s expense. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Products that have been modified, damaged, or otherwise rendered unsellable by the customer cannot be returned, unless they present manufacturing defects or were damaged during shipping.

All products manufactured by Improved Racing are covered by lifetime warranty. This means that we guarantee our products for as long as the original purchaser owns it. Proof of purchase is required.

Warranty covers:

1. Manufacturing and material defects.2. Product or material failure occurring during normal use.

Warranty does not cover:1. Any damage to the product, unless caused by a

manufacturing or material defect.2. Any failure or damage due to normal wear and tear as

determined by the manufacturer.3. Products modified in any way.4. Products which have been discontinued for longer than 1

year and for which no replacement is available.5. Products sold, but not manufactured, by Improved

Racing. For assistance with these products, please refer to the original manufacturer’s warranty.

To file a claim, visit www.improvedracing.com and use the Contact Form. Once a claim is filed, the product will be either repaired or replaced by the manufacturer. Product must be shipped at customer’s expense.
