Thank you for purchasing U.S. Jaclean's Shiatsu Leg Massager. Please read these instructions carefully before operating this machine. Please keep this instruction manual in a safe place, along with the warranty card, purchase receipt, and carton for future reference.

Note: Due to constant upgrades, you may find slight differences between the design and functions stated in these manual and those on the actual U.S. Jaclean device .

The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to.

1. Usage Environment • Do not use the unit in an excessively humid environment, such as in the bathroom. • Do not operate the appliance outdoors. • The unit is intended for household use only. Do not use this appliance in any other

manner. • Do not operate the unit near areas exposed to liquids • This unit is not for use in vehicles.

2. User Suitability • Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children,

invalids, or disabled persons. • This unit should not be used by children. Keep children away from unit. • Never use this unit on swollen or inflamed areas of the body, nor on skin eruptions. • Never use this unit on any individual suffering from any physical ailment that would limit

his or her capacity to operate controls, nor from sensory deficiencies in the lower half of his or her body.

• If you have any concerns regarding your health, consult your doctor before using the appliance.

• Persons having the following health conditions must consult their doctor before use: • Cancer • An implant, such as a pacemaker • Pregnant women and all women during menstruation • A high fever • Anyone under doctor's orders for medical rest, • Osteoporosis • Malignant tumor(s) • Heart problems • Those with previously treated injuries or severe eczema

3. Safety Precautions During Use • Before turning on the massager, ensure that the electrical voltage and frequency of the

circuit correspond to those indicated on the adaptor. • Improper installation may result in the risk of fire, electric shock, and I or injury to

persons. • Do not use this massager for any purpose other than massage. Doing so may result in

accident or injury. • Do not use your massager if it, its cord, or its controller has been damaged, or if it is not

working properly. • Do not use this massager if the fabric cover is torn, or if various machine components

are missing. • Please keep the massager out of the reach of children. Do not allow them, or any other

persons incapable of handling equipment. to operate the massager. • Do not stand or sit on the massager. • Do not insert metallic objects or flammable material into the main body of the massager.

Doing so may result in electrocution, short-circuit, and possible fire. • Never operate this product with wet hands, submerge it under water, or spill liquids onto

the product. • Do not exert excessive pressure while using this massager. • Do not cover the massager during operation. Doing so may result in a rise in motor

temperature, and its subsequent breakdown or fire. • Do not unplug or switch off the machine during operation. Doing so may result in injury. • When the appliance is not in use, switch it off and unplug it. • Never leave an appliance unattended while in use. • We do not recommend using this product for more than 15 minutes at a time. • Extensive use could lead to excessive heating and a shorter product life span. Should

this occur, discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before restarting operation. • Do not sleep while using the massager. • This product is a non-professional appliance designed to provide a soothing massage to

the muscles. • Do not use this product as a substitute for medical attention.

3. Usage Conditions To Avoid In the following situations, please switch off the power immediately and disconnect the AC power cord from the electrical outlet. Contact the Customer Service Center for help.

• Water is accidentally spilled on the massager. This may result in electrical shock. • Severe pain is experienced during the massage. Stop operation immediately, and consult

your doctor. • You detect malfunction or any other abnormal condition during operation. • There is a power failure. Injury may occur if the power is unexpectedly restored. • When lightning strikes.

5. Assembling & Repairing The massager must only be serviced or repaired by the U.S. Jaclean Inc. Service Center.

• The unit has no user-serviceable parts contained 1M thin. DO NOT attempt to repair, disassemble, or modify the appliance.

• The manufacturer is not responsible for any eventual damages caused by improper or faulty use.

6. The Power Plug & Cord • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. • Check to see that the voltage corresponds with the specification indicated for the

massager (Alternative Current only). • Do not disconnect the AC plug from the electrical outlet with excessive force. • Do not connect or disconnect the AC plug from the electrical outlet with wet hands.

Doing so may result in electric shock or in a malfunction of the machine. • When disconnecting the power from the electrical outlet, pull the cord out by the plug,

and not by the cord itself. • Although the auto-timer will automatically stop the movements of the machine, do not

neglect to turn off the Main Switch after operation. • Do not crush the power cord under the massager or any other heavy object. • Do not wind the power cord around the massager. Doing so may damage the cord and

result in fire or electrical shock. • Do not operate the massager if its power cord is damaged. Do not tamper with the

power cord. • Do not attempt to operate the massager if its plug does not fit snugly into the electrical

outlet.

• PRODUCT CARE & STORAGE

The adaptor must be removed from power socket before cleaning, servicing, conducting maintenance, or moving the appliance. Do not use benzene, thinner, or any other abrasive solvent on your massager. Use a dry cloth when cleaning the massager. Detach and wash the fabric cloth covers in order to maintain good hygiene. The mechanism of this massager has been especially designed and constructed to be maintenance-free. No periodical lubrication or servicing is required. When you do not plan to use the machine for an extended period of time, we advise that you coil the AC power cord and store the entire unit in a dust- and moisture-free environment. Do not store the massager near intense heat or an open flame. Do not leave the massager under direct sunlight for a long period of time. Do not immerse the unit into any liquid for cleaning.

• OPERATION

1. Connect the AC plug into the electrical outlet. 2. If you prefer, you can choose to pull out the height adjustment bar for your comfort.

See illustration below. 3. Insert your feet into the fabric-covered slots. 4. Turn on the power switch located behind the unit. The power lamp will be illuminated.

To activate the kneading discs & reflexology rollers: 1. Place you feet and calves into the fabric-covered slots. 2. Press the knead button for the default mode I (rhythmic squeeze 1). 3. Press the knead button again for mode II (rhythmic squeeze 2). 4. Press the knead button a third time for mode Ill (continuous rhythmic squeeze). 5. A fourth press of the knead button will stop the kneading process. You can also

press the stop button on the control panel anytime to terminate the kneading massage.

To activate the vibration board only: 1. Place you feet and calves into the fabric-covered slots. 2. Press the vibrate button. The default mode will be "auto" (rhythmic vibration). 3. Press the vibrate button again. The mode will switch to "Hi." 4. Press the vibrate button a third time. The mode will switch to "Lo." 5. Pressing the vibrate button a fourth time, or the stop button on the switch panel

anytime, to terminate the vibration massage.

It is possible to experience both the kneading and vibration massages at the same time pressing the knead button, followed by the vibration button, or vice versa.

One-Year Warranty

U.S. Jaclean Inc. (referred to as '"the Warrantor") will repair this product with new or rebuilt parts in case of defects in material or workmanship, free of charge. in the USA provided that:

t ) The product is operated in accordance with the printed instructions supplied. 2) The product is used under normal conditions for which designed. 3) The product is not subjected to misuse, negligence, or accident. 4) The product receives proper care, protection, and maintenance.

This warranty is extended to the original end use purchaser from an authotized U.S. J aclean distributor. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of the original purchase is required for service and parts replacement under this warranty. TI1is warranty does not cover shipping charges for defected items 30days after the date of purchase.

This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials and workmanship and does not cover nonnal wear or cosmetic damages. The warranty does not cover damages which occur in shipment, or failures which result from accident, misuse (including, without hmitation, failure to comply with instntctions and use limitations contained in the Operating Instructions), abuse, neglect, mishandling, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, improper operation or maintenance, alteration, modification, power line surge, lightening, improper line voltage, commercial use such as hotel, office, restaurant, or other business or rental use of product, or service by anyone other than from U.S. Jaclean Inc., or damage that is attributable to "'acts of God."

Continued use of this product after discovering a defect voids warranty. This warranty shall be governed by the state of California, United States of Am erica.
