2) Another example would be a footprint. Such as someone stepping in wet concrete and leaving an impression.

3) A 2-D impression is something that doesn’t stay. Such as someone stepping in dirt and leaving an imprint for just a little while.

4) Stepping in water and walking out of it. This would be an example because it doesn’t show the depth of the foot print, therefore you can’t tell much about it.

5) Fingerprints would definitely be one source because everyone’s fingerprints are different and it would be easy to identify the person.

List ways I which a tire tread mark can be used to link an individual car to a crime scene.

6) The cops could figure out what kind of tire it is, where the tire was purchased, what kind of vehicle it will fit on, pretty much any information about the vehicle or tire. This information would be really helpful.

7) You could tell the difference because of the marks left on the door. A pry bar would leave marks on both sides of the door while the screwdriver would not.
