Presently, Azolla fodder feeding is essential for lactating animals. In Azolla, protein and other minerals are present in a huge amount. Azolla can be cultivated in all area in our country. Azolla cultivation is possible in water with low investment by using cattle manure. Azolla is called “Green Gold” due to these characteristics. Azolla Pinnata is best almost popular varieties. Azolla is important for body growth and development in animals. By using proper amount of Azolla the milk production increases with better composition.
