The Clinic of Otorhinolaryngology offers thecomplete scope of diagnostics and therapy inOtorhinolaryngology. One focus of surgical treatmentis reconstructive middle ear surgery. Furthermore,the clinic is a centre for Cochlear Implantsimplantation and rehabilitation.

The focus in research is on multi‐disciplinary projectsin basic research and medical‐technical projects. Thehearing research group has proven expertise insimulation models of the hearing organ (middle earand inner ear structures) and experimental middleear mechanics.
