Research and Innovation in the Region of Valencia
• Valencian Scientific Research, Technological Development and
Innovation Plan (PVIDI) frameworks for 2001-2006 and 2007-2013.

Support of the R+D+i internationalization
Objectives:
- Support the direct participation of companies and organizations of the Valencia Region in EU strategic programmes on R+D and Competitiveness
Scenario – Lisbon Strategy- HORIZON 2020
- The participation in cooperation and innovation projects is an obvious indicator of the direct Regional competitiveness.
- Internationalization is a key element to improve European enterprises competitiveness.
- For that purpose, the European Commission sets up direct financing tools through regional projects.
IMPIVA, as Agency for Development and Innovation of the Valencia Region, stimulates the R+D internationalization through Specific Action Procedures

What is SEIMED
Main objective: to articulate a network of services to support
innovation among SMEs at the regional level in the framework
of the European innovation policy.
Originated in the framework of the European Enterprise
Network, within the EU Competitiveness and Innovation
Program (2007-2013)
Counts on the experience of the EIC (Euro Info Centres) and
the IRC Network (Innovation Relay Centres)
starts from an evident reality, counting on 20
years of experience in the Region of Valencia

• Facilitates contacts between entrepreneurs, investors and staff of

(November 24th 2011)
Aimed to private investors, financial agents and innovative or
technology based enterprises.
Objetive: atract investors to new entrpreneurial projects coming

PARTICIPATORY ONLINE LOAN for young innovative companies.
OBJECTIVE
Stimulate new innovative creation, facilitating access to preferential funding with the only guarantee of their business project.
Eligible investments
• Acquisition of fixed assets. • Active current necessary for the development of the activity.

BENEFICIARIES
• All those newly established SMEs that meet the following requirements: or exercise their activity and make the investment loan in the area of Valencia. or shall be a corporation or if already exist incorporation than in 18 months before the filing.
o The business plan should include innovative features, either related to the product and / or service, production, marketing, management, etc.. or Promoters must be fully committed and involved with the business project.

EVALUATION
1. Impiva favorable report as the project meets program requirements. 2. BIC corresponding favorable report on the technical and financial feasibility of the project. 3. Agreement and recommendation of the Technical Evaluation Committee. Finally the technical evaluation committee will consist of technical staff IMPIVA and BIC's, may incorporate a voice but no vote, from time to time as necessary to staff of other institutions such as technical institutes, universities, financial institutions, etc. .
