VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We are in need of Altar Servers, Lectors, Ushers, and Greeters for our Sunday Liturgies. Please consider serving your parish in one of these ways. If you would like to volunteer or receive more information please contact the office at 878-4513 or [email protected].

CD KIOSK IN THE VESTIBULE There are a wide variety of CD’s available in the entryway to the church. There is something for everyone - Adults, Teens, and Children! Topic include Conversion Stories, Evangelization, Church Teaching, Prayer, Suffering, Sacraments and the Blessed Mother, as well as information on Marriage, Family, and the Culture of Life. A donation of $3.00 is suggested to cover the cost.

IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION This position offers clerical support and assistance for the parish office. The individual is expected to maintain a welcoming and helpful atmosphere by providing exceptional customer service to the pastor, priest(s), employees, board members, departments and visitors. The individual frequently works with sensitive or confidential material; which requires an individual with tact, integrity and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality. The parish administrative assistant must exercise appropriate initiative and judgment in working independently and with a team.

BLIND NEED HELP! The Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired has an immediate need for volunteer drivers to get blind and visually impaired people where they need to go. Clients of VABVI can’t drive, forcing them to rely on others. They need to buy food, get to vital medical appointments, and run important errands. VABVI’s Volunteer Transportation Program provides free, personalized transportation services to our clients. Be a part of our team! Drivers work on an “as Needed” basis and are free to accept or decline any trip to suit their own schedules. Volunteer as much or a little as you have time for. Drivers receive mileage reimbursement for use of their cars. If you can help or would like more information, call Megan at 800-639-5861 ext 211.

8th Annual Vermont Catholic Women’s Retreat Saturday, November 16 at St. John Vianney Parish in South Burlington. Joseph House Mission Outreach Center - Joseph’s House will once again be offering a Thanksgiving Program to serve those who need a little extra help. This year Joseph’s House would like to serve 55 families from around Chittenden County with their dinner needs. Each family receives a Hannaford Gift Card, for the “trimmings” and a frozen turkey. With great generosity Mater Christi School staff, students and their families have committed to donating the frozen turkeys, but we could use your help in providing the “trimmings”! Please remove and discard wilted plants, wreaths, plastic pots and other wilted vegetable matter from the plots of your loved ones.
