Initial feedback
Focus groupFlatplan comparison Index
Although the font was disliked overall, the opinion of the focus group outweighed these thoughts
“Colours compliment and
stand out, appealing”
“I like the choosing of purple when the rest is
quite dark” “Didn’t like the purple
font, hard to read on the background”
“I prefer the taboo language”
“I like the fonts”
“Quite difficult to read”
“Needs a clearer font”
Focus group
Potential ideasInitial feedback Index
• I valued the feedback from my Focus group more than that of my peers• They understood connotations more• They are the end buyers
• Again these thoughts are on the more liked mock-up
• First thing that grabs your attention?•“The image”, “The bright image”
• Is the article too image or text heavy?• “It’s balanced but the text is really small so there is too much text”
• What is the first thing that you would change? • “Less text and more images, or at least larger text, there is too much”
• The majority of the complaints were about the size of the text and too much with it, taking that on board all future mock-ups focused more on quality than quantity
