Developing an Image board

My image board Before finally designing my final product after starting all over again from my original design I decided it would help me to make a mood board of the particular images relevant to the topics and culture of my magazine. It was important to include a wide variety of artists that the target audience would aspire to and would be able to relate to within there particular culture. Predominantly magazines such as UNCUT and MOJO feature strongly cultural and recognisable bands such as The Beatles and The Clash, to Radiohead and The Ramones all bands which gather strong loyal followings. Within my mood board I needed to represent something I would describe as a journey into the heart and soul of music which is the motto I had under the main title on the front cover.

My primary consumers main interest is music, and in more depth the discovery of music both including old and new styles. As the quality of music that is of importance to the audience, appose to the genre or decade of release.
