Registration Details
1. The registration link: https://www.glsbba.org/web/eventimage
2. Last date to register for IMAGE 2021 is Sunday, 10th January, 2021.
3. Students of all disciplines (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) can participate in IMAGE
2021.
4. In order to register, the participant is required to provide their Aadhar card number /
(Unique Photo Identification Number for Foreign Students) along with the necessary
details.
5. One participant cannot be a part of multiple teams in the same event.
6. The Team Leader has to first register with Team Name and generate “A Unique Team
Code”. All other members will have to register individually using the same Team Name
and Team Code.
7. In all the future communications the above said unique ID will be required.
8. In case, the participant has registered for more than one event and there is a clash in the
timings of the events, the participant will be solely responsible for the same.
9. Changes in the participant details will be allowed ONLY until 10th January, 2021.
10. The detailed event schedule will be displayed on the website https://www.glsbba.org/web/
by 15th January 2021.
11. The host holds all rights to change the format of elimination rounds as and when required.
12. Signing the Self-declaration form is mandatory.

Event Participation Rules
1. All the participants are expected to join their respective meeting links 15 minutes prior
to the commencement of the event.
2. Clarification regarding the rules has to be made before the event starts. No interference
in between will be allowed.
3. The participants will have to join the meeting with the naming convention
TeamNumber_StudentName
4. While presenting, the participant is compulsorily required to keep their camera on.
5. The Participant ID/ Team ID should be visible clearly when the participant is presenting.
6. The participants will be required to make sure they have a steady internet connection in
order to participate. In case of any technical or connectivity problem, the participant will
be solely responsible. Additional time may not be allotted in case of such issues.
7. In case, the participant has registered for more than one event and there is a clash in the
timings of the events, the participant will be solely responsible for the same.
Requirements for Claiming Prize
1. Post the event, there shall be strict verification of the winner’s identity.
2. In order to claim the prize, the participants must provide:
a. Bank details: Account number, IFSC code, Branch name, Cancelled cheque or first page
of the Passbook,
b. Proof of participation (screenshot)
c. Identity Proof (Aadhar card, PAN card, etc.)
d. College ID / Fee receipt
e. Consent letter in group events.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
In this document we present to you the list of the detailed rules and specifications regarding each individual competition which will be held as a part of IMAGE – 2021 with the theme -
“Harnessing Disruption”

Plandemic
Since the advent of the Internet, the concept of competition has expanded and without a
proper strategy, your business is prone to fail and while many can find problems within the
business, only a few can come up with effective solutions.
Hence, this year, IMAGE 2021 brings to you the most exciting Strategic Management event,
that will test your mettle in the strategic running of the business.
➢ General Rules:
⚫ Participants have to register in a team of 2-5 members.
⚫ The event comprises of 3 rounds. There might be an elimination round if required.
⚫ The event will be hosted on Cisco Webex - Video Conferencing platform.
⚫ Every team, while presenting would be required to keep their camera on,
otherwise it would lead to disqualification.
⚫ Each team should mention their Participant ID/College code in their
presentations throughout the event. Guidelines for the same would be
communicated later.
⚫ The presentation file should be emailed on
[email protected] as per the deadline provided.
⚫ The participants must take a note of the deadlines provided, any late
submission can lead to a reduction in the marks and even the disqualification of
the teams.
⚫ The COVID-19 pandemic has affected several industries throughout the country.
The major industries which were adversely affected are listed below:

⚫ After the final registration, the team leaders will receive a
follow up mail consisting of Google form link, where they have
to fill up the preferences given and the industries will be
allotted as per availability.
⚫ Judges’ decisions will be considered final and binding.
⚫ The judging criteria would be suitability, creativity and feasibility of the
strategies mentioned.
Round 1: Idea Generation
⚫ The participants are free to select any specific business within that industry or the
⚫ ancillary industries that support the above industries. For example, If the participants are
allotted the Finance industry according to their given preferences, then they need to select
either the banking sector or insurance sector or investment sector or anything that falls
under the Finance category.
⚫ For the industry they choose, they are expected to come up with
strategies for survival during the COVID-19 pandemic.
⚫ Each team should highlight its proposed strategies for the chosen industry in not
more than 2 slides.
⚫ The presentation time for every team will be a maximum of 2 minutes.
Round 2: Idea Elaboration
⚫ Shortlisted teams after Round 1 will be required to present their ideas in
detail, in front of the judges.
⚫ Each team would be given 10 minutes time for the presentation.
⚫ From the strategies highlighted in the previous round, the participants are expected to
⚫ showcase an elaborated explanation through a presentation. The elements to be
included in this presentation are listed below:
1. USP
2. Finance
3. Technical
4. Market Segment
5. Market development
6. SWOT Analysis
Round 3: Devil’s Advocate
⚫ In this round, participants would randomly be allotted a competing team’s
presentation, and the teams would be required to critique their strategies, find
loopholes and suggest alternative solutions that they believe would work
better.
⚫ The allotment would be random, any individual request related to allotment
would not be entertained.
⚫ The teams will have to find loopholes and scope of improvement in the allotted
⚫ presentations.
⚫ Each team would get 5 minutes to present their criticisms
⚫ The improvements suggested should be based on logical and practical grounds.

Best Manager
In a world that is rife with competition, perfection has become quintessential. People are the
new capital of today’s world. Management skills are something that you hear a lot about in the
abstract; yet you may find you're at a loss to define what the term really means. These can be
nearly anything that enables you to manage others effectively. While some skills will vary
based on your industry, there are several that are universal across nearly every work
environment.
This event is your chance to showcase your managerial skill-sets and solve real-life problems
in different settings such as decision making, problem solving, communication and innovation.
Engage in 3 grueling rounds to test your people-skill and emerge victorious!
➢ General Rules:
⚫ This is an individual event.
⚫ The event comprises 3 ROUNDS. There might be an elimination whenever
required.
⚫ The event will be hosted on Cisco Webex - Video Conferencing platform.
⚫ Each participant, while presenting will compulsorily have to keep their camera on.
⚫ Each team should mention their Participant ID/College code in their
presentations throughout the event. Guidelines for the same would be

Round 1: Aptitude Test
⚫ This round is designed to specifically assess the candidate’s problem-
solving, prioritisation, numerical skills as well as general knowledge.
⚫ The test shall be conducted online. The details for the same will be
communicated to the participants prior to the event.
Round 2: Situation Analysis
⚫ This round will test the participant’s critical thinking and prompt decision
making skills along with their oratory skills with respect to modern business
situations.
⚫ A situation will be provided to the participants on-the-spot, upon which,
the participants are expected to come up with a solution to the given
situation.
⚫ 60 seconds of preparation time will be allotted to each participant.
⚫ Each participant will be allotted a time of 3 minutes to present their analysis in
front of the judges panel
Round 3: Personal Interview
⚫ A personal interview will be conducted by a panel of judges.
⚫ Candidate’s CV needs to be mailed on [email protected]
before the due deadline.
⚫ The naming convention for the CV is CollegeName_FirstNameLastName.
⚫ The candidates will be evaluated for their Quality of Resume, Body Language
and Justification of Answers.

Digital Juggler
“Content is fire; social media is gasoline.” Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you
make, but about the stories you tell. Digital marketing is all about how you stay connected
with your potential and existing customers. As digital marketers, we like to see ourselves as
thought leaders, strategists and the go-to person for any digital marketing related question.
Many of us believe that our ideas are the ones that shape the marketing industry.
Keeping the same in mind, IMAGE 2021 has introduced Digital Marketing as an event that
tests the participant’s understanding of the different dimensions of digital marketing, their
data analytical skills, creativity in ideas and social media marketing.
➢ General Rules:
⚫ Participants can register in teams of 2-4.
⚫ Judges’ decisions will be considered final and binding.
⚫ The event comprises 3 ROUNDS. Round 1 and Round 2 will be viewed
as an Elimination Round.
⚫ The event will be hosted on Cisco Webex - Video Conferencing platform.

⚫ Each team should mention their Participant ID/College code in their
presentations throughout the event.

Round 1: Poster Making
1. The participants will be preparing a digital poster based on the theme for
IMAGE 2021 - “Harnessing Disruption”
2. The poster is to be submitted to [email protected]
by 20th January, 2021.
3. The poster can be of Portrait or Landscape orientation as per the
participants’ choice The ratio dimensions for the poster are as follow-
Portrait- 1:1 OR 4:3 Landscape- 16:9
4. All the posters would be posted on the IMAGE 2021 official Instagram handle -
@glsbbaimage
5. The posters which will be uploaded on our Instagram page would be
judged on the basis of the uniqueness of the concept, attractiveness,
overall impression created by the ad and the number of likes received for
the post.
Round 2: Brand Campaign
⚫ The list of brand campaigns shall be uploaded on the website by 24th January,
2021.
⚫ These brands will be allotted on a First Come, First Serve basis.
⚫ Post the selection, each team would be provided with a list of elements to be
accommodated in the campaign, the participants can accommodate any number of
elements from the list and for each element that gets accommodated the participant
would be given certain extra points.
⚫ The submission should be mailed to [email protected]
on or before 27th January, 2021.
Round 3: Design a Campaign
⚫ The participants are required to present a detailed campaign plan.
⚫ The necessary information of the campaign to be included in a presentation are
listed below:
CAMPAIGN BRIEF
Campaign Summary: Describe your campaign idea in two or three sentences
Campaign Objectives: Detailed Goals, Desired Outcomes and Measurable Objectives
What do you aim to achieve through this campaign?
Marketing Materials: What all mediums do you intend to use to reach out to your audience? Websites/Google Ads/Blogs/Facebook Ads/Contests etc.
Target Audience: The who, what, and where to target customer base Include the pertinent demographic/psychographic profile of your typical target customer
How do you segment and differentiate each target group? Specific Hashtags/Keywords/interests/likes/age group etc.
Call To Action: Detail the desired reaction of each target group
Positioning Statement
Campaign Message: All the big and the small ideas that you want to communicate to the audience through the campaign, the key benefit of the product/ value of the product/any message appealing to emotion/any social message
Ad Creatives (At least 2)
Schedule: Duration and Dates, specific occasion (if any) for the campaign eg- Children's day, Teacher's Day
⚫ The evaluation will be based on realistic analysis of the campaign prepared
by the teams.
⚫ The participants are required to submit the presentation prior to the event on -
⚫ Each team would be given 10 minutes time for the presentation.

Financially Forward
A financier is one who continuously updates his strategies with the changing environment to
outscore his competitors and maximize the wealth of the organization. To do the same, he/she
needs to be proactive and have the ability to react to market situations efficiently. If finance is
your game and money is how you like to keep score, Financially Forward is the event for you.
Cut through the castle of conjectures, weave a symphony of numbers, and convince our judges
and audience with your logic.

Round 1: Financial Quiz
⚫ A variety of questions will be asked to test your financial acumen.
⚫ Only 1 member from each team can attempt the quiz.
⚫ The questions will be based on General Finance, Banking, Investment, etc.
Round 2: Eco-Matrix
This is a surprise round. Further details for this round will be communicated with the eligible
participants.
Round 3: Stock Pitching
⚫ Each team will be given a random stock at the end of Round 1.
⚫ The participants need to analyze the stock and pitch it to the judges.
⚫ The analysis should include the following aspects:
Fundamental Analysis
Technical Analysis
⚫ The participants are required to submit their presentation on

⚫ Each team will be given 10 minutes for Pitching followed by 3 minutes for Q&A.
⚫ The pitch will be evaluated for their Analysis and Presentation Skills.

INVENTOPRENEUR
So, you have a brilliant idea for a new product or service. You feel energized, inspired, and
ready to forge ahead. Then your first challenge is to ‘create a business plan’. The goal of
Inventopreneur is to hone the business plans of young and budding entrepreneurs. The
participants are expected to create a hypothetical road map of their business, navigating
through the opportunities present in the market and by presenting and overcoming the
inevitable obstacles an entrepreneur might face, besides developing strategies to avoid
problems before they arise.
➢ General Rules:
⚫ Participants can register as a team of 2-4.
⚫ Judges’ decisions will be considered final and binding.
⚫ The event comprises 3 ROUNDS. Round 1 will be viewed as an Elimination
Round.
⚫ The event will be hosted on Cisco Webex - Video Conferencing platform.
⚫ Every team, while presenting will compulsorily have to keep their camera on.

Round 1: Elevator Pitch
⚫ Participants need to prepare an elevator pitch for their business plan. The
business plan should roughly translate to the event’s theme - “Harnessing
Disruption”
⚫ The presentation could include any of the following:
a. Problem/Opportunity
b. Value Proposition
c. Business Model
⚫ The elevator pitch should not span more than 1 minute.
⚫ Selected teams will qualify for the next round.
Round 2: The Plan
⚫ Each team needs to prepare a Business Canvas Model and PowerPoint
Presentation of their Business Plan, pitched in Round 1. The format for Business

⚫ Each team will have 10 minutes for their presentation.
⚫ The presentation will be followed by 3-5 minutes for Q&A Round.

⚫ The plans will be evaluated for their Relevance, Feasibility and Q&A.
