• Complete College America (CCA)– Illinois is a founding member of the CCA Alliance of States with

Illinois education agencies unanimously endorsing the CCA initiative in early 2010.

• Performance Funding– Policy Lever -- Adult Education part of the metric– ICCS PBF is a continuous improvement model. It utilizes a formula

that focuses on community colleges competing only against themselves.

completion of general education at a community college• Early Childhood Education Credentialing Workgroup

– ICCB and the Governor’s Office working on a strategy to connect industry credentials to certificate programs

• Bridging the Gap– Curriculum Alignment Grants in 23 colleges in FY 2014.

• Dual Credit Expansion and Enhancement Grants– Designed to increase the number of secondary students

engaging in early college credit models.– Revised the rules to allow flexibility for Early College

Models.
