You’re seeing photos on this page from ourcustomers that show what’s possible withIndustrial IoT and fleet vehicle tracking. Thephotos have trucks and trailers with all sortsof fun industrial equipment on them liketanks and pumps. These vehicles clean theinsides of huge tanks around the US and are assets of an industrial cleaningcompany.
Your organization can do this using a GSM sensor hub, GPS sensor, and anyadditional sensors like temperature, humidity, air quality, or industrial standardsensors like 4-20mA, 0-10V, RS-232, PWM, and serial. Here are some examples ourcustomers use:
PWM sensor adapter for monitoring flowmeters and fluid flow ratesKnob sensor for monitoring switches and when industrial equipment like heavy duty vacuums are turned on oroff4-20mA sensor adapter to monitor specific gases like H2S, Hydrogen Sulfide, and Volatile Organic Compounds,VOCs4-20mA sensor adapter to monitor fluid, water, and liquid levelsin tanks
In the photos of the boxes you can see Valarm compatible hardware that isdeployed on each of these fleet vehicles, trucks, and trailers. The keycomponent in every box on each vehicle, truck, and trailer is the GSMSensor Hub. Industrial equipment is monitored by the sensors in the box,like the GPS and 4-20mA sensor adapter, which connect to a GSM sensorhub that sends all of the GPS-tagged sensor data to Valarm Tools Cloud.
The vehicle information is uploaded in real-time as often as you need it.And you can easily change how often the fleet vehicles report at any timeon Tools.Valarm.net. You can use Time at Threshold Totalizers to knowhow much time equipment has been turned on and in use. For example,exactly how many hours has 1 of your pumps or vacuums run in the lastweek? There are also Totalizers for keeping track of exactly how muchfluid or water has been pumped with your flowmeters and assets.
