Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra IndianInstitute of Information Technology, Designand Manufacturing is an Indian Institute ofTechnology established in 2005 with thepartnership of Government of India andthe Tokyo University. It was declared to bean Institute of National Importance byMHRD under the IIIT Act.The institutepromotes the innovative minds byproviding a conductive environment forStartups.The institute also emphasizes on severalextra-curricular activities like the sportsactivities and the cultural activities inaddition to its rigorous academicprogramme and maintain a perfectbalance amongst all.

This year PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur willbe hosting the Inter-IIIT Sports Meet.This will be the fourth edition in theseries with the first three beingsuccessfully hosted by IIITDMKancheepuram, ABV-IIITM Gwaliorand IIIT Allahabad. With participantsfrom over 24 IIIT’s from all over Indiait is one of the largest fest in thecentral India .GUSTO – the Annual Sports Fest ofIIITDM Jabalpur held every yearduring the even semester where thesports enthusiasts of variouscolleges come together into theinstitute’s campus to showcase theirtalents and participate in thecompetitive sporting events.Different events that are held inGUSTO range from Athletics eventslike track events and other events, toname a few, to other sports likeFootball, Basketball, Cricket,Badminton, Volleyball, Lawn-Tennis,Table-Tennis and various otherboard events like Carrom andChess. This time a more number ofinformal events are going to takeplace. This year GUSTO gives youthe opportunity to grow as a sportsperson inculcated with variousvalues and provides a healthycompetitive environment which willbe full of excitement and joy.
