IIEE – CDO 2014 SPORTS FEST

(4th Kuryente Sports Fest)

Giving emphasis towards health and wellness as well as friendship and camaraderie towards

each members of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. – Cagayan de

Oro Chapter (IIEE – CDO), the chapter had conducted the well awaited event, IIEE – CDO 2014

Sports Fest (4th Kuryente Sports Fest), with the theme: “Fellowship, Unity and Never-ending FUN in

the IIEE Organization”, last June 12, 2014 at Alwana Sports Complex, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.

The event was participated by 66 electrical practitioners and engineers coming from various companies

in Cagayan de Oro and near cities and provinces. This was spearheaded by the Chapter President

Engr. Engr. Ricky M. Salon and VP-Internal Engr. Julius A. Waga. The team composition was classified

by its company representative with its corresponding Jersey color.

There were different sports played during the activity such as Basketball, Badminton,

Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Chess, and Dart. One of the highlights of the Sports Fest was the

Basketball Game played by the TEAM White (IIEE-CDO Officers) versus the TEAM Green (CEPALCO),

where the IIEE Governor of Region 8 Engr. Ramil L. Ombina played for the white team. After the games

the awarding ceremony and closing follows. Below are the results of the games:
