Summer is the time for hot ‐hot sun.

Adopt a plant, give the plant a special name and look after your plant with lots

of care, and water them in your garden.

I need care.

Birds feel thirsty too. Put some water in the vessel and keep it outside on the

terrace or in the garden.

EAT HEALTHY, LIVE HEALTHY

1. We all love eating chocolates, cookies, burgers, french fries, ice creams and

other such food items. Though these are very tasty and enjoyed by

everybody, they are actually not good for our health. Draw or

pastepictures of ten such food items which you should eat less and write

their names in your holiday homework in A3 size pastel sheet.

2. Fruits and vegetable s strong. During this summer vacation, learn the

following poem and recite it whenever you eat vegetables and fruits.

A Healthy You

“Veggies green!

Veggies green!”

Says the vendor, in

a scream. Why turn

up our noses

And make such a fuss?

Don’t we know?

They are so good for us

Tomato and carrot

Make a card and present it to your father.

Here’s how you can do something creative for your father and show how much

you love him. You need :

Old greeting cards, One rectangle‐shaped chart, paper Glue and a pair of scissors,

Colour pencils.

Instructions:

First fold the chart paper from the centre. Then cut pictures from old cards and

paste them on one half of the chart paper. Draw more pictures, if there is space,

and colour them. Inside the folded chart paper, write the message you want to

convey to your father.

• Save water for a better life

Every drop of water is precious, for our lives and also for the environment. We

should always be careful about not wasting water in all the things that we do,

such as brushing our teeth, bathing, washing our hands etc. So, let us take a

pledge not to waste water.

Write two ways in which you plan to save water during the holidays.

• Draw pictures on an A-3 size colouredsheet.Write down some tips on

saving water.
