She has shown great follow through and commitment to getting the job done right, even if it keeps her later than planned. She has been instrumental in gathering information, ensuring details are covered to avoid anything falling through the cracks. She has proven to be a leader and a great team player. Great Job, Valerie! Thank you for all you do day in and day out!
ATTENTION DOG OWNERS We ask that you please keep your furry babies on a leash at all times and always pick up any “presents” they leave behind. Happy Birthday to You…
This month’s mystery employee was born in Coahuila, Mexico on March 19th. She has three sons and two grand-daughters. It’s lucky that a friend told her about Independence Hill, she has been with our community for eight years. We are so grateful to have her! If you catch her outside of work, you may see her wearing coral – it’s her favorite color. She is very religious and enjoys go-ing to church, reading the bible, and watching her favorite movie, The Passion of the Christ. A hopeless romantic at heart, she loves to listen to romantic ballads. You’ll always find her wearing a bright smile. Can you guess who our mystery employee is? Last Month: Gerald Baxter
Prescriptions will be picked up from local pharmacies Monday through Friday. Requests need to be turned in to the Front Desk no later than 3:00pm daily, and prescriptions that are ready will be picked up from pharmacies no later than 3:30pm the same day otherwise the pick up will be the next day. This month’s mystery resident was born and raised in Chicago. He had a football scholarship to the prestigious Mount Car-mel High School. However, he trans-ferred to Westcott Vocational High School where he met the love of his life. He and his high school sweetheart will be married 62 years this coming February. They have six children, twenty two grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He spent his career in the Air Force trav-elling the world. He is an avid reader; some of his favorite authors are Ken Fol-lett, Jeanne Treat, and Daniel Silva. One book that he identifies a great deal with is titled Songs from a Distant Cockpit by John J. Schulz. If you catch him talking about movies, his two favorites are Casa-blanca and Lawrence of Arabia. Can you guess who our mystery resident is?
