Leadership competencies
Candice is a self-professed learning and development nerd. Her passion for developing
people started a decade ago, while studying her Honours degree, and she hasn’t looked
back since. She has diverse experience in developing and rolling out training with the focus
ranging from technical, behavioural to leadership in corporate and small business. This enables her
to create a learning experience for the employee that keep them excited about learning. She is determined to create a learning culture where your team never stops learning, whether it is
on the job, in the moment, in the classroom, or through coaching.
Ignite works closely with the customer to ensure complete alignment, and a tailor
made solution is delivered.
Our approach
Meet the MD
1. Scope the learning requirement: • Scoping sessions with the
customer to draft a detailed learning brief which will cover learning objectives and outcomes, target audience, roll out plan, budget and evaluation.
• Sign off by customer prior to content development.
2. Develop and design the learning material: • Gather information required to develop
content in line with the learning objectives. • Intermittent sign off sessions to ensure
alignment and course correct. • Developed material can include: pre-course
tasks or assessments, classroom based learning (presentation, learner manual), post-course task, on the job toolkits, line manager coaching kit, just in time micro-learning modules & facilitator guides.
3. Deliver the learning experience: • On the job solutions: provide learner
with on the job toolkits, and the line manager with coaching guidelines. Talk to us about our exciting partnership with an online learning provider. Learners can learn just in time, and business leaders can monitor results.
• In the classroom solutions: train-the-trainer session allows for internal facilitation, OR facilitation by Ignite.
4. Evaluate and monitor: • Evaluation forms are to be
completed by the learners. • We can record attendance
of the classroom course, monitor completion of on the job tasks. This can be integrated into the online learning solution if selected.
• After action reviews can be conducted to assess what learning has happened by analysing behaviour change.
