Setting In the setting there are various objects and actions that make noise such as the telephone ringing and footsteps on the wooden floor.

For these sounds, they could have been recording in a sound studio with real objects and recording equipment but as they sound kind of fake they were probably taken from a sound library.

Mood As Dante breaks out of the hold the demons are holding him in, a piece of music quietly starts to play to signify something exciting about to happen and also to show how much of a “cool guy” Dante is.

The sound was no doubt recorded live with a band in a sound studio

Game genre Since this game is a hack and slash fighter, the cutscene involves a fight scene with a fast paced action soundtrack.

This too was probably recorded live as it is an original piece of music.

Narrative The whole cutscene involves Dante talking who is voiced by Reuben Langdon. Dante is a cocky paranormal mercenary, private investigator, and vigilante dedicated to exterminating evil demons and I think his voice actor portrays this pretty well.

The dialogue was probably recorded in a sound booth where the actor would read a script into a microphone.
