The purpose of this assignment is to:
Develop your understanding of broadcast and non-broadcast audio products and formats.Develop your ability to use portable sound recording technology to produce sound recordings.Develop your ability to use audio post-production software to create radio jingle content.Develop your ability to evaluate the quality of your radio jingle productions.
Scenario
Broadcast radio is a combination of many types of programmes and features, covering news, entertainment, radio drama and topical discussion to name but a few.
Linking this broad range of radio programme content is the radio station ident or as it is more commonly known, the ‘jingle’.
E6 Radio has commissioned you to produce station jingles that will feature prominently alongside future E6 Radio productions. In order for you to achieve this you must produce voice recordings that clearly state E6 Radio by name and utilise audio post-production software to edit your jingle content.
It is expected that your final E6 Radio jingles will contain clear evidence of post-production VST plugin and audio effects automation.

Task 2
Record verbal / spoken word jingle content that prominently features the E6 Radio brand name. In order to do this you must first produce a series of word processed phrases and statements that will act as your recording script. You must then ensure that these recordings (production) are clear and recorded at the correct audio levels to avoid distortion and clipping.

Task 3
Utilise audio post-production techniques to produce E6 Radio jingles.
Your finished jingles, when uploaded to your blog, must include annotated print screens to visually show what audio effects and automation processes you have applied to your jingles. Your finished productions must contain a mixture of spoken word only and music based E6 Radio jingles.

Task 4
Produce a word processed evaluation of two of your finished E6 Radio jingles. To do this you must firstly gather audience feedback through the design and distribution of an online survey gathering audience feedback
Your evaluation must do the following: Evaluate the quality of two of the finished products compared to your original
intentions Evaluate technical (post-production) strengths and weaknesses of two of your
completed jingles Include word processed interpretation of audience feedback (annotated print
screens of online survey feedback) Summary conclusion of production and post-production skills you have acquired
through producing E6 Radio jingles.
