Our aim is the acquisition and retention of food science trivia knowledge with the goal of representing NCSU in IFTSA sponsored intercollegiate competition at the regional and national levels.
Participation affords the opportunity to attend and network at IFT competitions while gaining and integrating valuable food science concepts.
Committee expectations are to participate regularly in 2-one hour practices a week and attend the regional competition.
Teams are made up of 3 graduates and 3 undergraduates, whom generally all compete. However, I recommend that all those interested participate fully.
