Enhancement Program (PEP) which is a holistic intervention to improve the overall personality of a student including wellness. Also, IFIM introduced the �rst AICTE approved program in Business Analytics in collaboration with IBM.

We make our students industry-ready by keeping the design and delivery of our curriculum always concurrent. The curriculum is developed by our Board of Studies (BOS) which revises it with inputs from industry experts. Continuous assessment through cases, assignments, simulations, role plays and projects, weekly guest lectures by corporate executives and industry visits and on-campus lab work: IBM Business Analytics Lab and Prabhudas Lilladher Finance Lab bring the valuable practical experience.

The Industry Internship Program (IIP) is completely integrated into the curriculum of the program and carries 20 credits. The entire 5th term is devoted to the IIP, after students complete four terms on campus. Unlike other business schools, that

follow the conventional 6-8 weeks summer internship program, IFIM has a unique internship model which spans over 4.5 months.

Industry Labs and CollaborationOur labs are designed keeping technological advances in mind. With advent in technology, the onus remains on the platforms to provide resources to house cutting edge tools and resource intensive softwares. The infrastructure is secured and backed up with secondary power supply, thereby minimising all kinds of technical interruptions. All the systems are multimedia ready and run applications like, Microsoft O�ce, SPSS, SAS Visual Basic, Oracle and tools for data modelling and simulation.

Prabhudas Lilladher Lab

The objective of the �nance lab is to impart a host of practical knowledge and real world examples to complement the students 'in class' theoretical learning experience. Students get hands-on experience on the latest trends, tools and best practices of the industry. The students also get an opportunity to practice live trading on the NSE and BSE.

The lab consists of a Bloomberg Terminal. The Bloomberg Terminal is a computer system provided by Bloomberg L.P. that enables professionals in �nance and other industries to access the Bloomberg Professional service through which users can monitor and analyze real-time �nancial market data and place trades on the electronic trading platform.

IBM Business Analytics Lab

IBM and IFIM Business School have collaborated to help students enhance their skills in areas of managerial decision-making and strategy. This program initiated by Career Education for Business Transformation (CEBT) focuses on the major areas of business transformation where software plays a critical role.

The lab o�ers industry tools like IBM COGNOS, IBM Infosphere, Big Data, Apache Hadoop, @Risk, SQL Server.





Naman is the �agship management and cultural fest of IFIM Business School. This year, being the 20th inception year of IFIM, students had left no stone unturned to organize the best competitions, prizes and celebrities. A two-day panorama of talent witnessed the congregation of colleges and corporates from all over India.

IFIM Business School’s premier management and cultural fest Naman-2015 was held on the 11th and 12th of September 2015, honoring the theme and tagline of Air warfare – “A Quest to conquer the skies”.

For the Management enthusiasts, there were a multitude of management extravaganza competitions such as Best Manager, Business Quiz, Business Plan powered by NASSCOM, Marketing and Finance. The cultural section comprised of group dances and a glamorous fashion show.

The icing on the cake was the musical night featuring “The Raghu Dixit Project” where the audience relived the tunes of breathtaking contemporary folk music. This concert also emphasized on IFIM’s CSR initiative since it was a comprehensive fund raiser show where 100% of the pro�ts generated were donated to the cause of “Save the Girl Child”.

IFIM Business School Bangalore, in association with OXFAM India & the IFIM students initiative- ‘Students Against Female Exploitation’ (SAFE) conducted a walkathon for the cause, 'Save the Girl Child’, at State Central Library Campus, Cubbon Park, Bangalore.

This unique initiative, held on International Women’s Day, attracted approximately 3000+ Bangaloreans from all walks of life. The participants, varying from students to working professionals started and ended the run at Cubbon Park covering a distance of 5 Km. IFIM has been successfully organizing Kanyathon for the past 5 years. It was originally

started in 2011. Three major objectives of Kanyathon are Save the Girl Child, Women Empowerment and Awareness against Female Exploitation.

Since students are the future of our country, this movement of the students, by the students and for the students is expected to have a great impact. By changing the mindsets of young students, we not only ensure short-term safety, but also ensure safety for women across the nation for generations to come. The initiative is not limited to IFIM, but in the near future IFIM students would like to spread this movement to every other college and student body.

Convergence is a con�uence between industry and academia with a strong focus on industry relevant topics.

Convergence 2016 focusses on Digital Business. Convergence 2014, the 6th International Conference, saw active participation from delegates from 10 countries thereby giving it a strong global �avor. The event had several prominent speakers with the theme of the conference being “Ethical

Leadership: The Indian Way”. Research papers were presented in four tracks namely, Leadership, Ethics, Sustainability and Entrepreneurship.

The inaugural session was also graced by eminent personalities from the academia and corporate. The conference saw presentation of around 70 research papers by scholars and academicians.

The 19th Annual Convocation highlighted the importance of navigating e�ectively through the current scenario of our country and also enumerated on crucial life lessons.

Sri. Nandan Nilekani, former Chairman of the Unique Identi�cation Authority of India presided over the gathering. Also present on the momentous occasion, as the Guests of Honor were Shri. Sudhanshu Shekar Singh, Chief Operating O�cer – Analytics & Research at Genpact and Shri M. L. Shanmukh Director-HR at Bharat Electronics Ltd.

The ceremony was also graced by several dignitaries from the corporate world, the Members of Board of Governors of IFIM, parents of the graduating students and alumni of the institute.

The esteemed dignitaries of the event stressed on the e�ectiveness of the management program when coupled with industry interactions. They also advised the students to pursue their dreams with utmost dedication and hard work to get the desired results.

The hostel is located on a lush two acre campus and in close proximity to the main campus. Transportation to and from the hostel is available at the campus. The hostel campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled and has well equipped single / double occupancy rooms, made available on �rst-come-�rst-serve basis.

Facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like Football, Cricket, TT, Carrom, Chess, Shuttle Badminton and Gym are made available for the students. The hostel assures a comfortable stay for the students during the course of study. The facilities make the hostel a home away from home.

QuizbizzWith quizzes organised by the Quizbizz club, a healthy competition amongst counterparts is always promoted. Quizbizz helps students recognise the who’s who of the industry. Students further represent the IFIM and are trained to compete with the best in the country.

IFIM Toastmasters ClubIFIM has its own toastmasters club set up to groom the students to be e�ective and prominent leaders of tomorrow. The students utilize this platform, along with Personality Enhancement Program, to overcome the greatest fear to mankind, the fear of public speaking. Students are groomed by industry toastmasters mentors and are guided e�ectively and professionally to enhance their leadership skills, to become self con�dent and develop a positive and winning attitude towards life.

IFIM Music Club The Music club is aimed at providing a platform for the students to enhance their musical skills and also to nurture their talent in this �eld.
