15:12-20

Ephesians 3:9-11 NKJV and to make all see

what is the fellowship of the mystery, which

from the beginning of the ages has been

hidden in God who created all things through

Jesus Christ; (10) to the intent that now the

manifold wisdom of God might be made

known by the church to the principalities and

powers in the heavenly places, (11)

according to the eternal purpose which He

accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NKJV (1) Moreover,

brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I

preached to you, which also you received and

in which you stand, (2) by which also you are

saved, if you hold fast that word which I

preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

(3) For I delivered to you first of all that

which I also received: that Christ died for our

sins according to the Scriptures, (4) and that

He was buried, and that He rose again the

third day according to the Scriptures,

ONLY IF HE WAS

RESURECTED!

Matthew 20:18-19 NKJV "Behold, we are

going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man

will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the

scribes; and they will condemn Him to death,

(19) and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock

and to scourge and to crucify. And the third

day He will rise again.”

If Christ was not Raised…Then our Preaching is in Vain:

1 Corinthians 15:12-14 NKJV (12) Now if

Christ is preached that He has been raised

from the dead, how do some among you say

that there is no resurrection of the dead? (13)

But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then

Christ is not risen. (14) And if Christ is not

risen, then our preaching is empty and your

faith is also empty.


2 Timothy 1:10-12 NKJV but has now been

revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus

Christ, who has abolished death and brought

life and immortality to light through the

gospel, (11) to which I was appointed a

preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the

Gentiles.


2 Timothy 1:10-12 continued For this reason I

also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not

ashamed, for I know whom I have believed

and am persuaded that He is able to keep what

I have committed to Him until that Day.


Ephesians 2:19-20 NKJV Now, therefore, you

are no longer strangers and foreigners, but

fellow citizens with the saints and members of

the household of God, (20) having been built

on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,

Jesus Christ Himself being the chief

cornerstone,

The Words of the Apostles are Lies:


Romans 1:16 NKJV For I am not ashamed of

the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God

to salvation for everyone who believes, for the

Jew first and also for the Greek.

The Gospel would be meaningless:

If Christ was not Raised…Then our Faith is in Vain:

1 Corinthians 15:14 NKJV (14) And if Christ

is not risen, then our preaching is empty and

your faith is also empty.

1 Corinthians 15:19 NKJV (19) If in this life

only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men

the most pitiable.

If Christ was not Raised…Then we are still LOST in our SINS!!!

Romans 6:6-10 NKJV knowing this, that our

old man was crucified with Him, that the body

of sin might be done away with, that we

should no longer be slaves of sin. (7) For he

who has died has been freed from sin. (8)

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that

we shall also live with Him,


Romans 6:6-10 continued (9) knowing that

Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies

no more. Death no longer has dominion over

Him. (10) For the death that He died, He died

to sin once for all; but the life that He lives,

He lives to God.


1 Corinthians 15:17-18 NKJV (17) And if

Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are

still in your sins! (18) Then also those who

have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.Perished

Apollumi – lit. destroyed.

If Christ was not Raised…Then there is NO RESURECTION:

1 Corinthians 15:12-13 NKJV (12) Now if

Christ is preached that He has been raised

from the dead, how do some among you say

that there is no resurrection of the dead? (13)

But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then

Christ is not risen.

If Christ was not Raised…Then there is NO RESURECTION:

1 Corinthians 15:32 NKJV (32) If, in the

manner of men, I have fought with beasts at

Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the

dead do not rise, "LET US EAT AND DRINK,

FOR TOMORROW WE DIE!”

But NOW Christ is Risen:1 Corinthians 15:20 NKJV (20) But now

Christ is risen from the dead, and has become

the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

IS RISEN (perfect tense)

John 19:30 NKJV So when Jesus had

received the sour wine, He said, "It is

finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up

His spirit.

Jesus Remains Risen!!!

1 Corinthians 15:5-8 NKJV (5) and that He

was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. (6)

After that He was seen by over five hundred

brethren at once, of whom the greater part

remain to the present, but some have fallen

asleep. (7) After that He was seen by James,

then by all the apostles. (8) Then last of all

He was seen by me also, as by one born out of

due time.

Read Luke 24:1-8

Matt. 27:62-66 NKJV On the next day, which

followed the Day of Preparation, the chief

priests and Pharisees gathered together to

Pilate, (63) saying, "Sir, we remember, while

He was still alive, how that deceiver said,

'After three days I will rise.' (64) Therefore

command that the tomb be made secure until

Matt. 27:62-66 continued the third day, lest His

disciples come by night and steal Him away,

and say to the people, 'He has risen from the

dead.' So the last deception will be worse than

the first." (65) Pilate said to them, "You have

a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you

know how.” (66) So they went and made the

tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the

guard.

Romans 6:3-5 NKJV Or do you not know that

as many of us as were baptized into Christ

Jesus were baptized into His death? (4)

Therefore we were buried with Him through

baptism into death, that just as Christ was

raised from the dead by the glory of the

Father, even so we also should walk in

newness of life.

Romans 6:3-5 continued (5) For if we have

been united together in the likeness of His

death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness

of His resurrection,

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 NKJV (13) Let us hear

the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God

and keep His commandments, For this is

man's all. (14) For God will bring every work

into judgment, Including every secret thing,

Whether good or evil.
