I will show you the heritage that Italian people will leave to the world. In the first instance it is necessary to mention that “made

in Italy” is not only an origin indication but also as a brand.Recent studies, conducted by KPMG COMPANY, show how this is the

third brand more known in the world after Coca Cola and Visa. Also google takes over a growth of 153% in the online research,

with the key world «Made in Italy». In the following slides you will discover the most famous product under this brand.

FerrariFerrari is the most famous car company in the world, founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929.

The company is the perfect example of italian luxury and expensive car, and it is also one of the stronger brand in the world.

Barilla is the most famous producer of pasta, a typical italian food. The most distinctive feature of this company, is that it has always been under the control of the same family ( four generation).

In 2004, they created Academia Barilla , international center , dedicated to the distribution, promotion and development of the Italian Gastronomic Culture in World .

Luxottica is the largest world producer of lenses and frames.

Born in 1961, by an idea of Lorenzo Del Vecchio, is the third in the italian ranking brands compiled by the reputation institute. After his quotation in Wall Street, begun to buy brand as Persol, Rayban and Oakley.

Who have never tried the Nutella?The company behind this product is the Ferrero S.p.A., founded in 1946 by Pietro Ferrero.

Alessandro Volta

Alessandro Volta invented the battery , the ancestor of modern batteries are used to power portable devices. It was the first generator capable of producing a constant current , a revolutionary innovation that made him famous throughout Europe . Even today , in honor of the Italian scientist , the unit of measurement of the electric potential difference takes the name of volts and the phenomenon that allows the operation of the batteries is called Volta effect.

Enrico Fermi

The results achieved by Fermi in his life are stunning : the formulation of the statistical model of the atom , then called Thomas- Fermi (1927 ) , the formulation of the theory of β decay (Attempted A ray emission theory " beta " ) the discovery of radioactivity induced by neutrons and the effect of their slowdown (1934 ) , for which he was awarded in 1938 the Nobel Prize for physics. In January 1939 he moved in the USA , where in 1942 created the first nuclear reactor .

Rita Levi –Montalcini

Rita Levi - Montalcini discovered the nerve growth factor known as NGF, which plays an essential role in the growth and differentiation of sensory and sympathetic nerve cells. After several research on its mechanism of action, she was rewarded with the Nobel Prize for Medicine .

He was in charge of the project for the construction of Intel 's first microprocessor in the world, as well as its evolution, as the first high performance microprocessor.

Faggin founded in 1986 Synaptics, a company that developed the first touchscreen and touchpad history .

conclusionIn conclusion , after having shown what Italy means

for me, I feel compelled to protect the most important asset that we have, ourselves . All this creation was made possible thanks to the creativity and innovation that distinguishes us and makes us unique .
