Sensor Inputs

Using pressure sensors, the system can detect when products have been lifted or put down.

Using light sensors, the system can detect changes in ambient light.

Similar to the weight sensors, these can be used to detect when products have been lifted or put down.

A simple PIR sensor that detects general movement.

Scheduling events based on time or date.

Radio sensors allow products to be tracked within a retail store, and allow not only the product but the current location to provide the trigger.

These sensors allow the triggered event to be based on customer closeness to product / display. Range 0.5m to 2m

Using an external temperature sensor or data via the web, the content can reflect current weather conditions for example.

Triggering the content on the screen based not only on product movement but orientation.

The IDR’s on-board analytics capabilities allow you to measure customer interaction with the products using a web-based dashboard.

From this you can determine product popularity compared to other products, and even product popularity in certain regions.
