In response to the pre bid meeting held on 14.08.2012 at ICSIL, certain queries were received from various firms / OEM. After careful examination of queries and suggestions put forth by the intending bidders, following amendments/additions have been made in the tender as noted below. All intending vendors are requested to take a note of it and quote their rates accordingly.

This clause has been waived off.

2. 25 5 Performance Guarantee:OEMsshortlisted for empanelment under rate contract shall have to deposit a performance Bank Guarantee of Rupees Five Lakhs (Rs.5,00,000/-) valid for a period of fourteen months with a liability for extension up to the extended contract period.

The EMD will be released after empanelment of the OEMs under Rate Contract and subject to submission of performance bank guarantee of prescribed amount valid for a period of Contract/extended contract period.

Performance Guarantee:All OEMs / Authorized vendor of OEM (Even if they are registered with NSIC) shortlisted for empanelment under rate contract shall have to deposit a performance Bank Guarantee of Rupees Five Lakhs (Rs.5,00,000/-) valid for a period of fourteen months with a liability for extension up to the extended contract period.

4 27 (ii) 6 If the variation in prices of L2, L3, L4…OEMs is in the range of 20% of the rates quoted by L1 OEM, all such L2, L3, L4… OEMs may offer their prices to match at par with the rates quoted by L1 OEM of similar specification.

Matching of L1 prices will be done separately for the MNC and Indigenous brands of Desktops, Laptops, etc. if felt necessary.

5 18 4 Warranty Period: The warranty of complete system, including software support, would be 3 years / 5 Years (As the case may be) from the date of installation and acceptance. Warranty will cover repair/replacement of all defective parts, if any, with the same branded make for any part replaced. Software media will be replaced by the supplier against any manufacturing defects. The warranty includes onsite maintenance.Limited/ carry-in warranty will not be accepted. The supplier will provide after-sale service during the warranty period from Delhi or from the nearest place of installation site. The supplier will attend the service call during warranty and maintenance period immediately but not later than one working day for Delhi and NCR, failing which,

penalty shall be levied @ Rs.500/- (Rs. Five Hundred only ) per day delay for totally down system and @ 200/- per day delay for partially down systems.

6 14 3 Preventive Maintenance:- The vendor will visit the computer installation site at least once in a quarter for preventive maintenance (cleaning, dusting etc.) during warranty & AMC period even if no complaint lodged by the purchaser/user department. The Bank Guarantee of 10% of total order value submitted by the vendors for a period of 38 months will be released by ICSIL only after verifying adherence to the preventive maintenance reports and call reports in respect of the Computer Systems supplied or on submission of a certificate of satisfactory completion of services by the vendor during warranty period of 36 months. The purchasing Departments/organizations shall maintain logs/registers wherein the service visits (both preventive and call services) would be recorded.

Clause 14, Page No.3 of Tender Document is not applicable to UPS as batteries being used will be 100% sealed maintenance free.
