G) OTHER SETTINGS
INITIALISE INTERFACE: Default interface after boot up, this means after MDVR start-up i.e. which default
interface you want.
WATERMARK: Water mark is a technical function to protect the original data from illegal modification,
INTERCOM SENSOR: this is for the microphone (if fitted) that connects to the CP3..
EXPORT MINIPLAYER: Export a Mini-player file.
7.2.3 EVENT
A) SENSOR
ICS-200 Series-2014
34
If switch/alarm/log/lock all set as ON, When a sensor is triggered, it will trigger alarm signal and event log,
it will also trigger alarm recording and event recording. The EVENT LOG can’t be deleted even if the HDD
is formatted or overwritten.
EN: Enable, to active this function
NAME: Press ENTER on the Name field to display the soft keyboard. Enter the text name to identify the source of
each Sensor connected to the unit.
OSD: Input the numbers and Characters, they will be embedded into the alarm video files when an alarm occurs.
This identifies the type of event when doing a quick search using the EVENT SEARCH option.
SET: LOW (normally closed) means high to low will trigger the alarm.
HIGH (normally open) means low to high will trigger the alarm.
ALARM: Press ENTER to select “ON or OFF”
LOG: Press ENTER to enable or disable the input sensor.
The EVENT LOG is recorded in the EVENTS search file e.g.: If set to ON.
LOCK: To lock the file so that the event does not erase during the auto-over-write process of hard disk.
NEXT PAGE: Sensor trigger action means setting up the alarm linked for each sensor, for example, if you setup ch1 as the alarm linked to sensor1, when sensor1 triggered, ch1 will change to full screen.
3G ACT: You can define a sensor to active the 3G module (if fitted) as there is an active mode within 3G setup
interface.
ICS-200 Series-2014
35
B) SENSOR OUTPUT
Enter into GUI>>>>SETUP>>>EVENT>>>SENSOR OUTPUT, as follows:
“ON” means this input can trigger this output.
ICS-200 Series-2014

C) SPEED Setup the device to alarm in the event of the vehicle over-speeding.
SOURCE: The MDVR is capable of capturing vehicle speed via the GPS antenna or the Vehicles speedometer.
Browse between the settings of GPS or speedometer from the list.
Please note that a GPS antenna should be connected to the MDVR to receive
satellite signals for speed;
SPD CHECK: Speed check is used to calibrate the offset speed when physically connected to the
speedometer.
Input the vehicle speed, for example, 80 (in KM/H)
Start the vehicle and the screen will show the data from speedometer (in HZ)
When the vehicle speed reaches 80 KM/H, maintain this speed for 30 seconds,
then press “Check” to make the system calibrate.
SPEED UNIT: MPH or KPH, MILEAGE is the total mileage that the MDVR has run for.
OVER SPEED: If the vehicle exceeds the pre-set SPEED, the MDVR will trigger the alarm signal.
LOW SPEED: If the vehicle exceeds the pre-set speed limit, the MDVR will trigger the alarm signal (once
the corresponding alarm has been set) The Admin password is entered to acknowledge an
alarm.
D) ACCELERATION There are 3 values for G force inertial sensor: X, Y, and Z. X will indicate the forward and backward
movements. Y indicates left and right movements and Z indicated up and down movements. Threshold is the
limitation for the input value, if the value is larger than the pre-set, the MDVR will alarm.
ICS-200 Series-2014
37
E) TEMPERATURE This is the environmental temperature which is detected by inertial sensor. The MDVR's temperature is
detected automatically by the MDVR itself.
If the MDVR working temperature is higher than the setting for HIGH TEMP, The MDVR will trigger an alarm.
If the MDVR working temperature is lower than the setting for LOW TEMP, The MDVR will trigger an alarm.
F) CAMERA Displays the alarm information for each camera.
ICS-200 Series-2014
38
There are three states for a camera alarm: blind detect, motion detect and video loss.
CH ID: Select the channels you want to setup, for motion detect and blind detect.
SENSITIVE: this is the detect sensitivity, “1” being the most sensitive.
M.D.AREA: this option is for the user to setup the detection area, as follows;- A blank square means the area is
selected. To save the settings revert back to the setup interface.
G) VOLTAGE
VOLTAGE PROTECTION: If the MDVR detects that the input voltage is in a low state, the
MDVR will disconnect from CMS and shutdown automatically.
ENABLE: setup the voltage protection switch, ON means enable, OFF means disable.
VOLTAGE: setup the low Voltage value for automatic shut-down.
VOLTAGE OF START: When the voltages of the battery reaches this set value, MDVR will start-up automatically,
INTERVAL TIME FOR CMS: When the MDVR is in a low voltage state for a long time, the device will disconnect
from the CMS server automatically.
SHUTDOWN DELAY: When the MDVR is in a low voltage state for a long time, the device will shut-down
automatically.
H) EMERGENCY EVENT
ICS-200 Series-2014
39
This alarm is triggered by the driver from the control panel (if fitted) In the event of an emergency, the driver can
trigger an alarm by pressing the panic button on the panel. The alarm information will be sent automatically to the
central server via 3G (if the module is fitted)
I) FATIGUE DRIVING
Trigger alarm when driving or resting, over the pre-set values.
7.2.4 PERIPHERAL
