Completion PlacementA New Approach to Risk Mitigation
Introduction
eRED
• Reduce HSE Exposure
• Reduce operational Time
• Deep set eRED - 8515ft
• Shallow set eRED - 70ft
• BHT - 230 deg F at 9984ft
• Maximum test pressure aboveand below – 4900psi.
Our eRED (electronic remote equalising device) represents state-of-the-art truly intelligent down hole flow control equipment. Typically run
below a plugging assembly such as a lock or bridge plug.
The eRED can be opened and closed multiple times, controlling flowthrough the tubing without the need for any intervention.
Introduction
eRED
• First platform dual eRED deployment.
• Both eREDs were pre-installed and tested onshore.
• The ability to circulate to completion fluid without theneed for intervention.
• 4 wire line runs removed from operation
• In total 18 hours rig time saved by the utilisation ofeRED
