Goal/PurposeThe Preferred Provider Program (PPP) focuses on training opportunities related to codes, standards and guidelines as well as building construction materials, products and methods. The ICC Preferred Provider Network (PPN) provides quality training courses approved for ICC CEUs.

Goal/Purpose• Create an easily accessible network of extensive

training opportunities from a variety of educational resources;

• Provide access to quality training on specialty topics and building products that are beyond the ICC core training programs;

• Provide increased quality and support for educational renewal requirements of the ICC Certification Program;

• Enhance the relationship between ICC and Educational Providers in support of building Safety and innovation in building products and construction practices;

• Expand opportunities for maintaining high level of professional achievement demonstrated through obtaining ICC certification.

• Industry (Product manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and others related to the industry)

Acceptable types of Preferred Provider courses (on-site, online or both):• Building construction• Building products• Codes and standards• Administration, legal and management

topics related to building construction codes and standards

• Building design related to architecture, engineering and similar professional disciplines

The Process1. Interested party files application on the PPP Website2. ICC Education team reviews and approves or denies3. Approved provider adds course(s) to PPP Website4. ICC Education team reviews the course(s) and

approves or denies5. Approved provider adds date, location and contact

hours to course(s)6. PPP Website automatically populates the course(s)

on the live schedule7. Education seekers visit the PPP Website live

schedule and choose course(s) of interest8. Education seekers click on the registration button to

be connected with the PP and register for the desired training
