For more than 100 years, the Kincar-
dine Scottish Pipe Band has carried on the tradi-tion of parading up and down Queen Street on Saturday nights, per-forming for thousands of locals and visitors gathered along the pa-
rade route.Parades began in
1948, and on Saturday evenings from the end of June until Labour Day weekend, the pipe band leaves Victoria Park at 8 p.m., marches down the main street to Quinn Plaza and then
marches back to Victo-ria Park to perform.
Arrive early to snag a spot to view the pa-rade, then join in behind the band as it returns to the park. Attendees are welcome to bring along a lawn chair and sit and enjoy the music.
