ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science in India International Trade Fair 2016 The Mridaparikshak mini-lab technology, developed by ICAR-IISS, Bhopal, is being displayed and demonstrated at 36 th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2016 at PragatiMaidan, New Delhi.The IITF 2016, started on November 14, 2016 would continue until November 27, 2016. The Mridaparikshak stall was visited by Hon’ble Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India on November 15, 2016. Several others who have visited the Stall include professionals, farmers, Govt. officials and others including students from India and abroad. The Mridaparikshak mini-lab being demonstrated to Hon’ble Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India during IITF 2016 Mridaparikshak is a mini-laboratory, capable of estimating 12 essential parameters as per Government Soil Health Card Scheme (SHC). It is expected to provide a fillip to SHC as the mini-lab is low cost, portable and gives quantitative & reproducible results of soil health parameters. The soil test based fertilizer nutrient recommendations for major and micronutrients make the mini-lab a practicable technology in the management of soil health. The stall is displayed under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare near Gate No. 2.
