New and improved: Easily identify the impact

MLI has on affected treaties

Tax agreements affected by MLI are clearly identifiable

and contain explicit MLI provision links at treaty

article level, as well as links to related articles in

the countries’ MLI Reservations and Notifications.

This is combined with links to synthesized versions,

if available. Comparison functionality for MLI

Reservations and Notifications helps when judging the

treaty position for related countries.

New and improved: BEPS Country Monitor tables

expanded

The BEPS country tables now allow you to find

detailed comments on the implementation of the

OECD recommendations in 68 countries, with links

to more information. A tool facilitates comparison by

Country or Organization and Action Point.

New and improved: Transfer Pricing

content extended

Our TP documentation tables provide a

comprehensive overview of country-by-country,

Master File and Local File documentation

requirements and forms in table format with links

to extensive guidance on implementation in the TP

country chapters for over 60 countries.

New and improved: Holding Companies collection

The recently updated collection examines the legal

and tax aspects of a holding company’s life cycle and

different systems of group taxation, including domestic

and cross-border consolidation. Special focus is given to

the national implementation of anti-avoidance provisions

and its potential implications.

New: Book titles

In 2018 the book collection was enhanced by the

inclusion of new titles covering such topics as tax

compliance, data protection and taxpayers’ rights,

transfer pricing and intangibles, and the EU Anti-Tax

nearing completion

Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Moreover, we have

expanded the case notes on domestic VAT &

Sales Tax issues and we are developing new tools

This simulation tool providing you with income tax

calculation examples has been further expanded

IBFD will release a brand new look and feel of

the IBFD Platform that will dramatically improve

ease of use, search and navigation with the

extra benefit that the content and functionality is

automatically adapted to any screen size.

Coming soon: Multilateral Mapp

This tool will provide quick access to various

multilateral agreements, allowing you to select

an agreement, see which countries have signed

it and view the agreement itself. By selecting a

country on the interactive map you will see details

of when the country signed the chosen multilateral

agreement and get links to any further, relevant

information.

Coming soon: Pay-per-view journal articles

now also on Baidu

If you occasionally need a journal article, you can

review the article abstracts and buy individual

articles on a pay-per-view basis from the IBFD

website or Platform. This service will soon also be

offered on Baidu Scholar for our Chinese speaking

clients.
