There is no school on Saturdays, Sundays, and on certain Holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

Some kids ride the bus to school, some kids

ride in a car, and some kids walk to school.

My teachers will plan fun things for us to do at school.

Sometimes we will sit and do activities or read stories.

Sometimes we will go outside and play. I can play with a friend or play by myself.

My classroom schedule tells the class what to do and when to do it. Sometimes the schedule will change. When the schedule changes that’s ok, my teacher will tell us what to do instead.

Teachers are very helpful. They will help me to learn and play. It’s important I listen to the

teacher’s words and do what they say.

If I don’t understand something the teacher says,

that’s ok, I just need to raise my hand like this and ask the teacher to explain again.

It’s important that I be respectful to my friends and teachers at school. This means I will:
