I. Ice Breaking Session: One Day Ice Breaking Session was organized for the

Students of MBA Part I and Part II at Kalsubai on 30th Jul 2014. The Students were

accompanied by the faculty members. The main aim of this session was to bridge the

gap between the MBA Part I and Part II students.

II. Independence Day: Independence Day was celebrated on 15th Aug 2014 which was

followed by Tree Plantation Program. By the hands of Mr. Narendrabhau Darade,

Dr. Gajanan Kharate, Dr. Mrs. V. H. Patil, Dr. Yogesh Gosavi and Prof. C. D.

Mohod.

I. Tree Plantation: Independence Day was celebrated on 23rd Aug 2014 which was

followed by Tree Plantation Program. By the hands of Mr. Narendrabhau Darade,

II. Dahi Handi: Dahi Handi Festival was celebrated on 19th Aug 2014 in the MCMRC

college campus. Such activity is organized for developing the team building and

team spirit amongst the students and boosting the group dynamics.

III. Ganesh Festival: Ganesh Festival was celebrated in the college from 29th Aug 2014

to 2nd Sep 2014. This activity is also organized for developing the team building and

team spirit amongst the students and boosting the group dynamics in them.

IV. Shubharambh: An Induction Program ‘Shubharambh’ was organized on 27th Sep

2014 in the College. The Chief Guest was Dr. Mrs. Parvati Rajan.

Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in our college. All the staff and students were present for

the event. Our Director explained the role Gandhi. Gandhi wanted young men and women to play in

the transformation of Indian society and the lessons from Gandhi’s life and work from which the

youth of today could take inspiration. Envisaging great role for the youth in the establishment of a

new social order, Gandhi trusted youth. Youth empowerment was an integral part of his work

Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is an annual festival observed on 14 April to commemorate

the memory of B. R. Ambedkar. It marks Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's birthday who was born

on 14 April 1891. Since 2015 it has been observed as an official public holiday throughout

India. Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated not just in India but all around the world.

Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated in our college. All the staff and

students were present for the event.Shivaji Bhonsle (19 February 1630 – 3 April 1680), also known

as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was an Indian warrior king and a member of the Bhonsle Maratha

clan. Shivaji carved out an enclave from the declining Adilshahi sultanate of Bijapur that formed

the genesis of the Maratha Empire. In 1674, he was formally crowned as the Chhatrapati (Monarch)

of his realm at Raigad.

V. “Matoshri Champions League”: “Matoshri Champions League” was initiated in

MCMRC. Prof. S. D. Dalvi was appointed as the Faculty In charge for the same.

Total 10 activities were planned under the League. All the Students of MBA Part I

and Part II were divided into 9 groups and each group was assigned to one Faculty In

charge. Following are the details of the events conducted:

a) Documentary: was conducted by HUL Group Headed by Prof. S. D. Dalvi

on 27th Sep 2014. The main aim was to acquaint students with the current

issues and teach them the art of preparing quality documentary. The winner

groups for this competition were Wipro group headed by Prof. V. V. Aher

and Reliance group headed by Prof. H.N. Thorat.

b) Poster Presentation Competition was conducted by Infosys group Headed

by Prof. Madhuri Kharjul on 27th Aug 2014. The main aim of this

competition was to develop the advertising and presentation skills amongst

the students. The Theme was – “Superstition – Breaking Back bone of

Nation” The winner group for this competition was Wipro group headed by

Prof. Vikrant Aher and Runner up was HULGroup Headed by Prof. Sharad

Dalvi. The event was judged by Mr. Anil Kadbhane and Mr. Vijay Sanap,

Association of Civil Engineers.

c) Business Plan Competition was conducted by Birla Group headed by Prof.

D. D. Pagare on 23rd Aug 2014. The aim of this competition was to develop

the abilities of preparing a full proof business plan for starting a new business

in the future amongst the students. The winner group for this competition

was Infosys group headed by Prof. S .D. Dalvi and the Runner Up was HUL

Group Headed by Prof. M. B. Kharjul. The event was judged by Brig. Harish

Chande, Ret. Brigadier in Indian Army.

d) Case Study Competition was conducted by the Microsoft Group headed by

Prof. C. N. Jagale. The main aim of organizing this competition was to make

the students capable of solving actual problems faced by corporate

organizations and finding best possible solutions for solving them. The

winner group for this competition was HUL group headed by Prof. S. D.

Dalvi.

III. Republic Day: Independence Day was celebrated on 26th Jan. 2015 which was

followed by Tree Plantation Program. By the hands of Mr. Narendrabhau Darade,

Dr. Gajanan Kharate, Dr. Mrs. V. H. Patil, Dr. Yogesh Gosavi and Prof. C. D.

Mohod.

e) ADITIKS – Ad Mad Show Competition was conducted by Wipro group

headed by Prof. Vikrant Aher. The aim of this competition was to inculcate

the advertising skills and tactics amongst the students. The winner group for

this competition was Apple group headed by Prof. V. D. Tambe.

f) Biz Quiz - Management Quiz competition was organized by ABL group

headed by Prof. A. P. Bhavsar. The main aim was to test the knowledge of

the students related to management and general knowledge. The winner

group for this competition was Reliance group headed by Prof. H.N. Thorat.

g) Best Manager Competition was organized by Tata group headed by Prof.

M. P. Gangurde. The aim behind organizing this event was that the students

should be able to handle / tackle various situations related to the corporate

world in a tactful way by using Management tactics. The winner group for

this competition was Birla group headed by Prof. Prof. D. D. Pagare.

h) One Minute Competition was organized by Reliance group headed by Prof.

H.N. Thorat. The main aim behind organizing this event was that the students

should be able to do proper Time Management in whatever work they

perform. The winner group was Wipro Group headed by Prof. V. V. Aher.

i) Industry Interface Competition was organized by Apple group headed by

Prof. V. D. Tambe. The main aim of this event was to acquaint the students

with various industries operating in the market and the Top 3 and bottom 3

Companies of each industry. The winner group was Reliance group headed

by Prof. H.N. Thorat.

The overall Winner of Matoshri Champions League was Reliance group

headed by Prof. H.N. Thorat and the Runner up was Wipro Group headed

by Prof. V. V. Aher.

VI. Fresher Party: A Fresher Party – ‘Booming Festum’ was organized by MBA Part

II students in the month of 9th Aug 2014 in Hotel Darbari.

VII. CSR and Dare To Crack Activity: As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility, all

the Faculty Members conducted Personality Development and Career Guidance

Workshops along with an Inter College Competition in various under graduate

colleges in and around Nashik City. Following were some of the colleges:

a) Modern College, Peth Road, Nasik.

b) National Senior College, Sarda Circle, Nasik.

c) Late Bindu Ramrao Deshmukh Arts & Commerce Women’s College, Jail

Road, Nasik Road.

VIII. MILAAP 2014- Alumni Meet: Alumni Meet – MILAAP 2014 was organized on

26th Jan 2016 in MCMRC. All the Alumni students from Pioneer Batch till latest

past out batch – 2008-10; 2009-11; 2010-12 and 2011-13 attended the Alumni Meet.

The Academic session for the second and fourth semester, Jan – Apr `2015 Commenced

from 15th Jan 2015.

XI. Sports Day: Sports Day was organized in MCMRC for MBA Part I and Part II students on

the college ground. Cricket, Volley Ball, Kho-Kho, Carom and Chess competitions were

organized during Sports Day in the month of Feb 2015.

XII. Visit to Anath Ashram: As s part of Social Responsibility, the staff and students of

MCMRC visited Anath Balakashram at Khambale Village near Trimbakeshwar and donated

wheat bags and other food items to the children there. Also they celebrated the Birthdays of

students there with the children of Ashram and Dr. Ratnakar Pawar, Head of Anath

Balakashram.

XIII. Trip: A One Day Trip was organized for MBA Part I & Part II students at Alibaugh Beach,

Maharashtra on Sunday, 14th Feb. 2015. The Teaching Staff accompanied the students for the

trip.

XIV. “Yaariyan”, Farewell Party: Farewell Party was given to MBA Part II students by MBA Part

I students in the month of March 14 Mar 2015 at Hotel Darbari, College Road.
