Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God.(Ps. 146:5 ESV) This month in the life of our church we will celebrate Mothers Day, our graduates, and Memorial Day. During each of these special Sundays we will take a few moments in our Worship Service to say a word of thanksgiving to God for the giſt that each of these are in our lives and in the life of our church. Where would we be without our Mothers? How many mes in our lives has God worked through our Mothers for our own good? Oh how the Lord works through our Moms to make us and mold us into the people he desires us to be! Moms: THANK YOU! Our graduates are our future and we pray for them daily! Praying that God would be their help, that they would learn to trust him, and put their hope in him. Graduates: We are thankful for you, we are proud of you, and we are also praying for you! Many have gone before us and paid the ulmate sacrifice so that we may have an opportunity to live in peace and in freedom; we remember and are grateful for them. If you have a family member who gave their life in service to our country: THANK YOU! We know that doesnt remove the sng or the pain, but we hope that in remembering them and being thankful for their (& your) sacrifice we will honor them. The above scripture points us directly to God for our help and our hope; may we seek him for this at all mes!!! While there are mes that the Lord intervenes in this way directly, there are other mes that he uses people in our lives to help us and give us hope. In fact, somemes the Lord sends his help and hope in the form of a wise Mother, a budding graduate, or a faithful servant willing to give his or her life for the sake of others. May we be grateful for the giſt they are to us. Hoping May goes your way! Live blessed! In His Service, Pastor Roger Ps. 6:9 May 2018

“Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,

whose hope is in the Lord his God.”

(Ps. 146:5 ESV)

This month in the life of our church we will celebrate Mother’s Day, our graduates, and Memorial Day.

During each of these special Sunday’s we will take a few moments in our Worship Service to say a word of

thanksgiving to God for the gift that each of these are in our lives and in the life of our church.

Where would we be without our Mother’s? How many times in our lives has God worked through our

Mother’s for our own good? Oh how the Lord works through our Moms to make us and mold us into the people he

desires us to be! Moms: THANK YOU!

Our graduates are our future and we pray for them daily! Praying that God would be their help, that they

would learn to trust him, and put their hope in him. Graduates: We are thankful for you, we are proud of you, and

we are also praying for you!

Many have gone before us and paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we may have an opportunity to live in

peace and in freedom; we remember and are grateful for them. If you have a family member who gave their life in

service to our country: THANK YOU! We know that doesn’t remove the sting or the pain, but we hope that in

remembering them and being thankful for their (& your) sacrifice we will honor them.

The above scripture points us directly to God for our help and our hope; may we seek him for this at all times!!!

While there are times that the Lord intervenes in this way directly, there are other times that he uses people in our

lives to help us and give us hope. In fact, sometimes the Lord sends his help and hope in the form of a wise Mother,

a budding graduate, or a faithful servant willing to give his or her life for the sake of others. May we be grateful for

the gift they are to us. Hoping May goes your way! Live blessed!

In His Service,

Pastor Roger
