I watched you on stage last night and I thought – he has worked
so hard. He has put his heart and soul into this, and at leastpartly for me. And I just kept thinking God he’s so (pause !ad.
And I thought I would !e demolished " !ut something
happened. I mean there were all those people coughing and
then that plane it just #ew o$erhead and when there were all
those mos%uitos. And you, you, just kept on going. And I
thought& what makes a hero' It’s just someone who tries to do
what’s right despite impossi!le odds. ike you playing Hamlet. I
think you’re the !ra$est, no!lest man I ha$e e$er met. )hen I thought a!out how I’$e !een putting you o*. And how,
well, I’m just a lady in waiting. And I thought I’m not e$en
worthy. +o you know what I decided to do' I decided to drown
myself like phelia in -entral ark ake – isn’t that perfect' +o I
went !ehind the theatre and I stood up on this rock and I
!raided wild #owers into my hair and I e$en sang phelia’s
!awdy song. /ut I couldn’t jump in. I lost my ner$e.
I was so upset I came !ack here and I ran upstairs to the roof.And I stood on the edge and I stared at the moon and I said&
