We were practicing a new dance and it was a hard routine to do. It was so hard and I was getting lost. So was everyone else.

The girl who was teaching us was a junior in high school and she was getting very frustrated.

The people in Hope Ministry were all mentally retarded peopleWhat an insult I know we sucked, but it was very insulting to the Hope MinistryThat was when I decided to become a dancer. I wanted to prove that Junior wrongI practiced hard from day to night. Only resting to sleep, eat, and study.

Suddenly, I was determined to be the best dancer.

Boa, the teen singer stood in front of me as I continued to dance to the beat of music.

I had been hired by SM Entertainment in California when I was 17 years old and had been one of Boas back dancers ever since. Ive been finishing high school since then.

Boy did I hate it.

I never thought I would hate dancing, but when I had to dance behind this 16 year old I hated it.

Its not that the dance routine was stupid; in fact, it was so easy it could have been stupid, but like the way Boa moved her butt in front of me was VERY disturbing.

After the performance, I slowly walked off the stage and into the backstage area when I heard, someone yelling, Hana unnie!I turned around and saw the short-butt-shaker headed my way. She didnt look very happy but when did she ever look happy, except on camera?

Calmly, I said, Hey Boa, whats up? in PERFECT ENGLISH, wondering if she knew I was making fun of her.

You were offbeat at the last You still my number one! Boa yelled, annoyed.

Oh really? I said, uninterested, as I sipped my water. Im sorry, would you like me to go back up there and do it again with you so we could get it perfectly?Boa frowned and ignored me, leaving me finally.

One of the back dancers came over.

You didnt mess up. Shes just being picky. He said, staring at Boa storm off. Shes just probably worried about her album being out in Korea. You know she wasnt that successful when she debuted.I shrugged. It had nothing to do with me. Its her own d@mn fault she didnt have popularity when she first debutedIf I was 12 and I was a singer, my parents would have beat the crap out of me, telling me I should be going to school instead being a pop star.

But its not my kid, what do I care?

I was on my way out of the arena, feeling annoyed by little miss Boas ugly commentsIt was pretty true that I was Boas most hated back dancer. Everyone knew itThe only reason why I still had a job was because Lee Soo Man knows I AM the best dancer for Boa, not being obnoxious or anything.

Gawd, if it wasnt for Jung Hoon, I would have quit a long time agoHe was my closest friend ever since I was hired out for Boas back dancer and boyfriend since a couple of month ago. He was dancing for a group called Shinhwa in the same company. Hes the few people who understand my hate for Boa.

At the same time, he prevents me from bringing Boa down to ruinswhich totally sucks for me but oh wells. Like once, she pissed me off so much, I filmed how Boa treats me and was ready to upload online, showing the world that their beloved idol is nothing but the lowly scum that she is. But of course, Jung Hoon stopped me.

By the time I got to the exit, the group Shinhwa was coming in with their back dancers. I saw Jung Hoon. I ignored him. I wasnt in the mood to talk to him.

Hey Hana! I heard Jung Hoon greeting.

I groaned. Not in the mood Jung Hoon! Sorry!

As I pushed through the door, I could still hear Jung Hoon calling my name, but I continued on, slamming the door behind me.

Jung Hoon repeatedly called me after that.

Sigh I really, really want to quit being Boas dancer. I just dont understand how anyone can dance for that little brat. Stardom got through her head too much.

Whats worse, I have to follow her around to Japan every time she goes.

Ey! Answer the phone! my phone yelled as I took it out of my bag.

That day, after being mad as hell with Boa, the one thing on my mind was dumping Jung Hoon and hating Boa ask much as I want.

I picked up the phone and called Jung Hoon.

Before he could say anything, I plainly said, I think we should break up, and here are a list of reasons why----

Hana, wait up! Give me a good reason!DANG Jung Hoon caught up with meI know thats not the real reason why youre breaking up with me Jung Hoon said, in a sad voice.

I dont deserve a sweet guy like you. I tried to say in my best hopeful voice, You deserve a whole lot better. I patted him on the back and walked away.

Hana Whats the REAL reason? Jung Hoon asked, stopping me.

I sighed and looked at him. Maybe I dont like you anymoreThat was half lie and half truthI still liked him but I didnt think our relationship was going anywhere.

I looked at Jung Hoon and he looked like a boy who lost his dog If anyone was there to see this, they probably would have thought I took his heart and killed itOh I see okay Thats fine. Jung Hoon gave me a weak smile and started walking away.

I felt so bad and guilty for him but what had to be done, must be done

Min Woo suddenly called a 10 minute break, when one of their back dancers kept messing up the routine"Jung Hoon, why are you so ...dead today?" Jun Jin asked, grabbing a bottle of water from the minifridge against the wall. "Sorry guys..." Jung Hoon said, with a glum voice, "But... I got dumped today..." "DUMPED? By who?" Hye Sung asked out of no where, sitting down next to them. "Hana? Or whatever her name is?" "Yeah... Hana..." Jung Hoon replied, looking down.

"You know... I've never seen her before." Min Woo said, "You said she was Boas back dancer?" Jung Hoon nodded, "Maybe... it's because Ive been crowding her too much. I'm always there to tell her to stop bugging Boa..."

"Why? she hates Boa or something?" Hye Sung asked. Jung Hoon shook his head unbelievingly, "You have NO idea."

"Where is she now? Boas studio?" Jung Hoon nodded. "I'm going to go see her!~" Min Woo said, getting up and going out the door followed by Jun Jin.

I stood in front of the mirror as Boas new song came on through the stereo. Ugh... she squeals a lot in this song too... I can't find one song that she sings that she doesn't squeal in... What is with that?

Ignoring her annoying voice, I sank the beat of the music into my ears. And suddenly, movements came to mind.

But instead of jazzy movements, I started making little girly movements. Kekeke... Make Boa look like a little kid... hahahahhahahah!!

"One Two~" What the heck.. What kind of song has One Two in the lyrics?? Whatever.

Oh! I know what I can do!!! I'll "copy" Britney Spear's movements and put it into Boas dance and then everyone can talk ddong about Boa for being a copy cat. Ha! brilliant Hana, just brilliant.

"Where is she?" Min Woo asked, looking into the recording studio. "No one's in here..." Jun Jin looked into another empty room, when Boa walked down the hallways.

"OPPA DEUL! did you come to see me?" Boa greeted with a giddy voice. "Hey Boa." Min Woo waved. Boa gave him a big hug and waved to Jun Jin.

"So What are you doing here?" Boa asked, "You usually never come here..." "Oh... one of our back dancers got dumped by one of your back dancers and we wanted to see who it was." "what's her name?"

"Um.... Hana? Duna? Sae Na? it was some number" Min Woo stuttered, trying to remember the name.

"Hana?" Boa repeated, frowning, "She dumped Jung Hoon oppa?" Min Woo and Jun Jin nodded. "Ugh, that horrible b1tch... Dumping Jung Hoon oppa like that..."

"So, where is she?" Jun Jin asked, ignoring Boas profanity. "She's in the dance studio, choreographing for My Sweetie..." Boa replied, "I dont know why I have her choreographing my songs... but Soo Man ajushi says its the best for me... so yeah. Come on, Ill show you the way."

Min Woo and Jun Jin followed Boa down to the dance studio. Music became louder and louder as they got closer. Boa opened the doors and familiar music flowed into their ears.

"HEY! This isn't my song! What is she doing, not dancing to my song?" Boa yelled.

"Wow..." was the first thing Jun Jin said when he saw the tall skinny girl in gray warm ups dancing to a ...Shinhwa song.

"Dang... she's really good." Min Woo added as he pulled Boa back, allowing the girl to dance some more.

Tired of Boas screaming, I slipped something else on the stereo, a CD that Jung Hoon gave me the other day. Shinhwa ...

The music came on and I have to admit, the song wasn't that bad. It immediately got me standing on my feet, making my body move. Hey, I really like this song~

the rapping is really incorrect though... Well at least they make up their own rapping unlike Boa, who sings horribly in English that she didnt even try writing.

I continued dancing until the last beat quieted down the studio. And out of nowhere, I heard clapping. I turned around and saw a red-faced Boa, a tall guy, and a short guy with orangish hair.

"Hana unnie! Why weren't you choreographing my song? That's what I pay you to do! Not to dance to some other music!"

I rolled my eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me... I give you your salary." Boa continued. I turned around and stared DOWN at her.

"Want to know the truth?" Hana asked, in a strong yet calm voice, "Your song SUCKS. I hate it. I can't dance to something that SUCKS. And another thing, if you want good choreography for you SUCKY song, then shut up and let me dance to other songs, so dance moves come to mind, AITE?"

"OUCH..." Jinnie whispered behind Boa and Min Woo stared at the girl endlessly, amazed at how much courage she had for bagging on one of the top stars in Korea.

Boa turned even redder as she stomped out of the room, muttering something about talking to Lee Soo Man about a new choreographer.

Hana smiled towards Boa before bending down play the next song.

"Hey, go check up on Boa..." Min Woo said, "I'm going to go try talk to her. She's a good dancer. We might want her more than Boa." "Ha, I was thinking the same thing." Jun Jin ran out of the room hurrying to catch up to Boa.

"Hey," Min Woo said, shyly waving at Hana. Hana turned around. "Hi there." She replied, still skipping through the CD.

"You like the songs?" Min Woo asked. "Yeah, they're really good. I bet the actual choreography is pretty good too." Hana replied. "I can't wait to see Shinhwa in action. I really would like to see them dance to this song."

Min Woo's eyes lit up. "Well, how bout now? We're having practice in the other studio." Hana looked at him, strangely.

"You're Min Woo right?" "Yeah, that's me." "Aren't you like that really good dancer in Shinhwa?" "If you say so." Min Woo grinned.

Hana didn't. "So why don't you just show me your moves here, instead of getting your buddies to dance with you?" Min Woo thought about it. "Is this because of Jung Hoon?"

It was Hana's turn to smile. "You catch on fast. So dance here." He shrugged and turned the CD to Perfect Man.

He started to dance and in the middle of it, Hana joined in.

You know this dance? Min Woo asked hastily.

Hana shook her head, Its predictable she replied with a smile.

Feeling a little offended, Min Woo stopped dancing and watched Hana dance. He looked carefully, waiting for her to mess up.

When she did, HA! YOU MESSED UP!!!Hana turned off the stereo and looked at him.

Dude, that was my first time dancing the actual thing and that was from what you just did..

Min Woo couldnt say anything. She was right.

Youre like the best female dancer I know Min Woo complimented.

Thanks. I would say you were the best, but I know other people who are better, so sorry. Hana replied.

Again, Min Woo felt offended, but it was true.

So how like do you dance like that? Min Woo asked, Youve never seen the dance until nowOhum Hana thought, You know how like in piano, you can sight read music? I can kind of do that with dancing but not really.How are you in freestyle? Min Woo asked, as he changed the track on the streo.

New music came on Hana started dancing fiercely.

Min Woo was about to compliment her when-

Hana, boomed a low voice.

Min Woo and Hana turned around to find Boas manager, with Boa behind him, crossing her arms.

I want to talk to you alone. He said, signaling her to come.

Hana sighed and picked up her water bottle.

Min Woo looked at her.

When will Boa give up she never wins these fights Hana whispered.

This is the 100th time I had to bring you here. Boas manager said, frustrated. Arent you tired of getting in trouble with President Lee?I shrugged. He likes me better than Boa, so whats the worry?

Soo Man ajushi came out of his office and gave me one look.

Oh, youre here again? He asked. I nodded.

Was the choreographing going bad? He asked.

Thats not it ajushi! Boa said, in a baby voice, trembling as she spoke.

Here come the tearsOh goody shes faking it againI was dancing to a Shinhwa song and Boa got angry at me I explained, Is that a sin?BUT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DANCING TO MY SONG! Boa yelled, losing her temper.

I stared at Boa. Youre in an office, use your indoor voice. I said sarcastically.

Boa turned to Lee Soo Man. See what I mean? Shes horrible!

Now now, how about this? Lee Soo Man put his hand down, Try one more performance together and if something happens, Ill promise to move Hana to a different group.Thats fine with me! Boa and I yelled at the same time, only giving each other evil looks at the end.

Min Woo stood looking at the mirror as the other dancers ate dinner.

Min Woo, what are you thinking about? Hye Sung asked.

Just wondering whats going to happen to Boas dancer. He replied, She was REALLY good, and I think she would have been just great in our team.Well, I guess Boa needs her more than us Jun Jin reassured, Were fine without her anyways I think.Min Woo sat down on the floor with the rest of the Shinhwa members.

Pass me a hamburger. Im starving. Min Woo then said, I had a somewhat of a dance competition with that dancer.

Where is Hana??? Boas manager said, in frustration and worry. It was 5 minutes to stage time, and Hana was no where to be found.

Boa shrugged, but anyone could have seen the hidden smile on her face.

I was driving to the company building, when traffic just suddenly became heavy.

I only had 30 minutes to get there, and the performance was in 50 minutesThe traffic didnt look like it was going to die down any time soon, so I decided to call Boas manager and tell him Ill meet him at the performance arena,

It wasnt Boas managers voice it was Ugh Boas.

Wheres your manager? I asked in my calmest voice.

Oh, is that you HANA? Boa asked.

Get your managerHes not here. Boa replied, Hes looking for you.Well, tell him theres traffic and Im just going to meet you guys at the arena I paused. Where is that?For some reason, long silence followed.

Okay so I went there right?

When I got there it was EMPTY no one was in there.

It took me like 2 seconds before I realized Boa pulled one on meIll kill her later for now, I have to go back.

I called the manager again, and he picked up this time, only to shower me with his wonderful yelling and scolding.

He told me to come quickly, saying hell stall Boas performance until I arrive.

Oh! Hana unnie! Boa greeted in a sorry voice, I accidentally told you the wrong place.Hana stared at her as if she was about to murder her.

What are we dancing to? Hana asked solemnly.

Again, Boa smiled.

Were dancing to My Sweetie. Boa replied.

Hana looked back at her. But we JUST finished the choreography for that why are you dancing that already?I dont know why do you think my manager needed you to be here? Youre like the only one that actually knows it perfectly Boa replied.

Makes sense Hana disappeared into the dressing room to change.

All the back dancers got on stage, Hana included. Fans began to cheer as Boa came on stage.

At the first note of the song, Hana started to dance the My Sweetie choreography. It didnt take a long time before she realized Boa and the other back dancers werent dancing with her, and that the song wasnt even My Sweetie.

A mixture between shouting and confusion rang across the audience.

Hana took little time to correct herself and immediately started dancing to No.1.

Just wait Hana thought, watching Boa in front of her again, Just wait until this performance is done Youre going down----

Applause rang in my ears as I angrily walked backstage.

Hana, what was up? Didnt you know we were dancing to No.1? One of the back dancers asked, patting my shoulder.

Uh oh the back dancer saw that this situation wasnt going to be handled lightly.

I turned around as I saw people saying hi to Boa and congratulating her for another great performance.

She caught my eye and froze, showing a weak smile.

I just silently kept staring at her, making her nervous and feel scared inside. I was still 3 years older than her and I probably looked scary to her especially when my face looked stone cold.

Boa was surrounded by no one not even other singers

I swallowed my anger in and decided I would save it for later, when Boa does something more extreme.

Boa swaggered along the hallway, avoiding me.

At least shes scared and wont try anything more today.

I took my bag and water bottle and followed after Boas team when I accidentally ran into someones shoulder.

Look, I know youre feeling really sad, but like I really cant handle you right now I have my own problems I still want to be friends, but nothing more. Sorry. Hana said hastily before she walked down the hallway, leaving Jung Hoon standing alone.

Jung Hoon glumly walked back to Shinhwa.

Aw, dont worry too much There are other girls out there Hye Sung said, putting his arm around Jung Hoon. Besides I think Boa has a crush on you. Hye Sung winked.

Jung Hoon faked a smile. Boas too young and Hana is right about one thing Boa has a severe attitude problem I dont wanna deal with that.Min Woo looked back to see Hanas back. He made expressionless face.

I would have thought in the several weeks that passed after Lee Soo Mans suggestion, I would have tried something evil to do, just to get Boa outta my facebut I didnt.. I couldnt reallyI guess it was mainly because it was the end of the year, and Boa kept winning these awards that I certainly thought she didnt deserve I felt bad for the really good artists that had to stand around the stage, clapping and giving fake smiles to Boa as Boa burst into those fake tears againAnyways.. Her winning all those awards kept coming one after another.. so I didnt really get any time to plan my way out of Boas group.

Hey Boa~ Jung Hoon said, as he saw her dancing in front a mirror. Min Woo looked around the dance floor.

Hey oppa! Boa said, happily, stopping her dance. The music blared on. Min Woo waved.

So hows been everything? Jung Hoon asked, shouting over the music.

What? Bo yelled back, not being able to hear.

HOWS BEEN EVERYTHING?OMG HANA UNNIE! SHUT THE MUSIC OFF! Boa yelled pointing to Hana, who was practicing.

Hana gave her a evil stare and continued right on dancing.

Aish Boa yelled. Jung Hoon and Min Woo stared, wondering what Boa would do.

SHUT THE DANG MUSIC OFF! Boa yelled again.

Hana gave her a look.

DUDE SHUT UP! Hana yelled back, Dont you want your little shimmy in there? Im trying to fit it in there so its perfect like you ALWAYS WANT IT. So SHUT UP. She started to dance again.

This time, Boas face turned red. She walked up to Hana, calmly, but with her fists clenched.

And before anyone realized what was happening, there was a loud smack and Hanas screaming mixed with Boa.

Everyone in the room turned to see Hana, pulling Boas ponytail as Boa TRIED to grab for Hanas hair, but Hana was too tall for her.

At once, people all dove in to separate the two.

Jung Hoon held Boa back as Min Woo made Hana release Boas ponytail.

YOU B1TCH! Boa yelled, tears gathering in her eyes.

Who you calling b1tch? You have no REASON to call me that! Hana yelled back, You started it you little disrespectful brat who thinks shes all good, but is really a worthless bug that I should squash! At that, Hana stomped her foot on the ground.

Boa broke free from Jung Hoons arms and rushed out of the room crying.

Min Woo removed his hands off of Hanas shoulders.

What are you going to do? He asked Hana.

Nothing she probably went to go get Lee Soo Man ajushi Hana replied, dusting her clothes off.

Just as Hana said, Lee Soo Man came into the room. He looked furious.

What is the PROBLEM HERE? He yelled, Boa trailing behind him.

She started it with her awful attitude! She yelled.

It didnt take long to separate the two again.

Excuse me? Hana asked, before she started laughing. A singer? I have never sung here once, and to be a singer, you need TALENT. unlike HER! She pointed to BoA. And besides, I dont want to be a singer, especially with her around! SO HAVE A NICE DAY, YOU B1TCH!Hana slammed the door on her way out.

Silence filled the room.

Boa immediately stopped crying and looked at Lee Soo Man.

I looked at him and smiled.

See? I told you theres better girls than me out there.Yeah thanks Hana. Jung Hoon said, Good luck to you too you know with the guys.I scoffed.

Guys.. thats the last thing I have on my mindI waved to him and flung my backpack over my shoulder.

A sharp and clear voice that was easy to listen to flowed in and out of the audiences ears.

The intro ended and Hana started dancing powerfully, while still singing perfectly, not losing a beat or gasping for breath. It was a never before seen dance.

The audience started to cheer loudly as they watched a girl that was even better than Boa.

Hana didnt mess up once. Her voice stayed strong until the very end of the song.

They performed their piece as they had practiced it.

By the time it ended, it was time to announce the winners of the competition.

This years contestants were as always a hard decision to make, but this year The announcer said, reading his cards, The winner is Hana Lim! With her live and creative dancing to Boas Atlantis Princess!Cheers spread like wild fire as they all congratulated the winner that deserved it all.

Someone handed Hana flowers and she turned around to the audience and judges to thank, when she saw Shinhwa.

Although they were the main attraction, the main event was the announcing of the new winner of todays contest. The winner was 18-year old Hana Lim, who sang and danced live to Boas Atlantis Princess.PPPPHEW!!! Boa spat out the water in her mouth as she jerked up to the TV screen in her van.

A small clip of Hana dancing and singing to Atlantis Princess came out and Boa rubbed her eyes.

The van came to a sudden halt and the driver looked back.

After that, she met her singing teacher.

Another week passed and I began to get used to this singing businessRecording was hardat least I thought so..

Plus I coughed up so much blood cus of the voice lessons.

It was happy bright song, bouncy too and it had a rhythm that got stuck in your head easily.

I was SO shocked to hear her sing! Her voice was like SOO sweet and nice to listen to and it was sooo surprising when she went so high!Boa firmly held her cup in her hand.

Seok saw that she was fine by herself and left the room to meet up with Hanas coordinators.

Min Woo took the risk and began to dance with Hana.

The two danced smoothly, moving to the same beat.

Slowly, Min Woo began to mouth the words to On My Own.Hana smiled, to know that Min Woo was able to keep up with her song.

Their eyes met and Min Woo gave her a wink.

All of the sudden, Hana stopped dancing and stared at Min Woo.

Even with his short height, he looked tall and so charismaticespecially when he was so into his dancing.

Min Woo paused from dancing and looked at her, wondering what was wrong.

Nothing Hana replied, Its a little warm in hereShe took off her sweater to reveal her white tank top. Hana slowly fanned herself.

At that moment, Seok came back to announce that they were leaving to go to the station.

Hana quickly said bye to Min Woo and followed Seok to the van.

I hate needlesThe doctors shook his head, No its too late for a flu shot. She already caught the cold.PHEWHe handed the prescription to Seok oppa and we began to walk out of the office.

He had to go reschedule all of Hanas activities because of her cold and there was NO way he could go drop it off at Hanas apartment again.

Hey. Seok said, Can you drop this off at Hanas?US? Eric and Hye Sung asked instantaneously.

Seok nodded. You all know where she lives so drop it off and Ill buy you lunch later.No can do Eric replied as Hye Sung nodded, After lunch, we have to go straight to the park to film some show.We can ask Min Woo or someone else to drop it off though.. Hye Sung added, Well probably see people around.Great! Seok handed off the medicine and thanked them, before disappearing into his office.

I heard shes down with a cold right now-REALLY? Boa suddenly popped her head to the front seat, scaring her manager.

The manager continued drive while Boa kept ranting on how Hana sucked.

Her complaining paused when they passed the GE building.

I wonder if Shinhwa oppa deul are there. Boa thought, but the car kept on moving.

Min Woo was watching TV with Jun Jin.

It was Music Bank and the latest performance of Hana.

She looked weaker than ever. Her face was pale.

Min Woo stared at the screen worried.

This is like her first lip-syncing performance Jun Jin commented, Her voice seemed fine when we visited her yesterday Why is she lip-syncing?Thats because she needs to keep her voice strong until Friday. Min Woo replied.

Whats Friday?Her first standoff with Boa. Min Woo grinned, You know how much shes looking forward to it.Jun Jin stuck out his tongue cutely. I forgot.I hope her voice stays strong Min Woo whispered.

Illrest a little bitin the vanbefore my performance. I kept on saying, but I was even becoming uncertain about performing, even though it wasnt live.

The room was blurryHana? Are you okay?

I turned around and saw Dong Wan walking.

You cant let her perform I heard a voice.

I peeked into the room.

Boa looked around the backstage room, in search for Hana.

Hmmp She thought, I guess Hana chickened outIs your hair fine? Her coordinator asked.

Oh yeah, its perfectly fine. Boa replied, not even looking at her hair.

Then she heard Hyori say-

Hana! You dont look so good.There she wasstanding at the doorway, being escorted to her seat by Seok and her coordinator.

Im fine Hana replied weakly, but with a cute smile.

Boa gritted her teeth in anger.

She turned to her coordinator, Whats with the hair? Its all tangled up!Boait isnt Her coordinator replied.

Yes it is! My fingers wont even slip through it anymore. Boa argued, as her fingers swiftly went through her hair.

Her coordinator sighed, Ill get the straightenerNever mind that Boa yelled, Im next Boa put her one wrist bands and walked past Hana, who wasnt looking so good.

Although she was sick out of her mind, as Boa walked by, Hana gave her one stare.

Boa scoffed and walked on stage.

Hana closed her eyes and inhaled deeply.

Are you sure youll be fine? Ji Eun, her coordinator asked, You look like youre ready to faint..Ill be fine. Hana replied, Ive been saving my voice for a weekI have to use itJi Eun and Seok exchanged worried looks, but Hana was determined to do this.

Loud cheers and applause was heard followed by Dong Wan and Han Byuls introduction to the next song.

Hana Lets go. Its your turn. Seok helped Hana up and Hana started walking towards the stage.

Someone handed her headphone mic and she put it on with the help of her backdancers.

Just do your best. They said.

Hana smiled and nodded.

The cue for her to go up on stage came up and she started walking towards the audience

Music came on and people started cheering.

Hana closed her eyes and prayed for everything to go all right.

She opened her mouth and started to sing.

Her voice came out soft but loud enough for everyone to hear.

From the side, Dong Wan stared, worried.

Her voice shook involuntarily and she kept taking deep breaths.

The dancing wasnt as powerful as before but it was good enough.

Hana would pause in her dancing and adjust her mic, so that she would be more focused in the singing.

She continued to have a cheery face song as she sang.

Eric came on stage for the first time with Hana and began rapping his part. He kept throwing worried glances at Hana, asking if she was all right.

She nodded with a weak smile.

Its almost overJust hang a little longer Hana thought to herself.

The high pitch of her song was coming nearer as Seok started rubbing his hands together, nervously.

Blood started pounding her head and the stage area started spinning.

Hana swallowed back and closed her eyes, continuing to sing her hardest.

Tired tears came to her eyes, but she kept going.

She passed the high octave amazingly and ended the song with a more grateful smile.

And that was new singer Hana with her song On My Own. Dong Wan announced proudly, Thank you for that awesome performance.You did great. Seok commented, helping Hana offstage.

Hana didnt reply.

The room was still spinning as she cringed her eyes.

Before she knew it, she was on the floor.

Terrible, I thought I said she shouldnt perform for awhileShes just exhausted and her cold has gotten worseHave her rest in the hospital for at least two days, then she can go home.Ill assign nurses to take care of herI moaned and opened my eyes painfully.

Hana? Are you okay? The face of Seok oppa came into sight.

I nodded, Where am I?

Eric laughed, Oh yeah After you fainted, panic went through the room and someone spilled coffee on Boas hair. Just thought that would cheer you up.I giggled. Erics so random but so funny.

Oh, I brought some things to keep you company. Min Woo said, lifting a bag up to the bed.

He pulled out a couple of magazines, a walkman with many CDs, some novels, and lastly, a blue stuffed animal that had an ice bag on its head.

Press the ice bag. Min Woo said, handing the animal to me.

I obeyed and-

Achoo! Get well soon!

The animal chanted.

I laughed, Thats so cute!Well, we got to jet. Dong Wan said, looking at the clock on the wall, Our manager wanted us to sleep early because of our schedules tomorrow.I nodded.

Okay, bye. I said, waving.

Dong Wan and Eric left the room, talking about stuffed animals and pajamas.

Min Woo came over.

Get well soon, He said, Maybe by the time you get better, my album will be out.I nodded brightly, Ill even help advertise.He grinned.

Then he took my hand and kissed it lightlyEverything froze in my body as he did that.

He said good bye again, and left the room.

I stared at my hand, where Min Woo kissed it.

Flowers, candy, cards, dolls, and balloons began to fill Hanas room the next couple of days.

She was out of the hospital and now her apartment building was being flooded by the gifts of her fans.

While she was in bed, she tried to write thank you cards to each and every one of the people who sent her a gift.

She was three-quarters done, when Ji Eun entered Hanas room with even more presents.

Gee Hana, Ji Eun said, Since when did you have so many fans?Hana shrugged, Dont ask me, they popped out of nowhere.

Hana laughed along with Ji Eun, but ended up coughing hard.

Are you okay? Ji Eun asked immediately.

Yeah Hana coughed, I just got excited. Im really fine.Here, have a drink of water.Hana took a sip. The doctor said, I can go back on stage in a week.Thats great. Ji Eun replied, making herself useful by arranging flowers in vases and separating tangled balloons.

Hana stood in front of her mirrored wall, practicing her dancing.

Ji Eun shook her head, Go back to bed.

Nah, the more I exercise, the more my body starts functioning correctly.Ji Eun smiled as she watched Hana dancing with a bright smile on her face.

Hana was one of the first singers that seemed so eager to do her job even at a sick stageA couple of days later, Hanas face reappeared on TV, happier than usualwhich made Boa angry to her bones.

Why is she on TV? Shouldnt she be in her bed, sleeping away? Getting better from her cold? Boa yelled, even though there wasnt anyone in the room.

GRR!!She called her manager to come pick her up and drop her off at GE.

Hana~ Eric said, tossing her a soda can. You did good today too.Thanks! Hana replied, Oh and thanks for rapping for me again.No problem, I figure if Im up there, you wont fall to the ground, cus Ill be there to catch you.Hana grinned and sipped her soda.

Eric put his hands into his pocket and noticed something was missing.

Hey, Ill be right back. Eric said and he ran down the hallway.

Hana looked around the lobby of the building, bored.

Hey, look a baek won. Hana said, finding a silver coin on the ground.

She bent down to pick it up, when an ugly Sketchers shoe stepped on top of it.

Her eyes trailed up and shortly after awhile, Hana found herself kneeling down at Boas presence.

No wonder Boa looks so tallher shoes add like 4 inchesSee? I knew one day you would look up to me. Boa replied just like a spoiled brat would say.

Hana made a disgusted face and mocked Boa.

Will you get off? I found a coin on the ground.Im still talking to you. Boa said, Look up when Im talking to you.Hana sighed angrily and pushed Boas leg off of her coin, making Boa trip over her own foot and fall to the ground.

OW! Boa yelled as she found herself pitiful on the ground.

Her managers immediately rushed to her aide as Hana casually blew on her coin, dusting off the dirt.

Aish! That biatch! Boa yelled angrily.

Hana froze at her tracks and turned back.

Boa was now dusting her clothes off.

Wait here, She told her managers, Im going to the bathroom.Hana stared angrily at Boa going into the bathroom.

Whats the quickest and easiest way to get revenge? Hana asked herself as she went into the bathroom without Boas managers noticing her.

Then she saw it.

A bucket of water under the sink.

Hana spotted Boas ugly shoes under one of the stalls and smiled.

She picked up the bucket and dumped the water into the stall.

AHHHH! Boa screamed.

By the time her managers realized it was Boa screaming, Hana was already out of the bathroom.

Sorry! Eric said, That took a little long. I couldnt find my cell phone.No problem Eric oppa. Hana replied, I kept myself busy.They walked together out of the building as Boa walked soaked from head to toe out of the bathroom, steaming with anger.

Hana has never felt this good after being so sick in her entire life.

I finished my performance and walked off stage.

Someone handed me a water bottle.

It was Hye Sung oppa and Kang Ta oppa and Ji Hoon oppa.

Thanks! I said, taking a sip.

You were great up there. Ji Hoon oppa said, Maybe you can teach me some of those dance moves.I laughed, You guys were great too.So, Hana. Kang Ta oppa said, ready to say something, Have you gotten no.1 singer so far?I shook my head, I dont think I can, with all these really good singers around. Like you guysS-no.1 for the past three weeks.Hye Sung smiled, Nah, I dont think we got it today

Aw come on oppa! Be hopeful! I encouraged.

Before I could say anything else, one of the staff started yelling, All singers up on stage!Yes, that concludes todays Eumak Camp, leading us to our Mutizen award for the number one artist of two weeks. Dong Wan announced, holding a bouquet of flowers, with Han Byul next to him, holding a crystal trophy.

Now the nominees, up on the screen.

Pictures of S, Lee Soo Young, Lee Ki Chan, Sung Shi Kyung, Hana, Lexy, and Bi came up on the screen.

And this weeks Mutizen Award goes to.HANA!Hana? Me? What?

Confetti started flying all over the place, as I felt pats on the back from other singers.

Dong Wan oppa handed me flowers and Han Byul handed me the trophy.

For some reason, tears began to well up in my eyes.

Hana, congratulations! Dong Wan said.

I nodded, not being able to say anything. I just stared at the trophy and then at the audience, who were cheering.

Want to say something? Han Byul offered.

I took the microphone into my hand and it started shaking.

Uhoh gosh. I said, as the tears stayed in my eyes, ready to overflow. I..I dont know what to say. UmI want to thank God for giving me talent andthe people at Good Entertainment for allowing me to join such a good company.. and the people who spent nights composing songs for meand, and my fans gosh I couldnt have gotten this far without you guys.Dong Wan laughed, I bet this is very emotional for you, being number one singer when youve been a back dancer for the longest time.I nodded.

I walked back and saw my back dancers coming back on stage. I ran up to hug them.

Tired and weary, she was getting into her van when she heard someone calling her.

It was Hyori.

Were going to celebrate. Hyori imitated someone drinking. Come on~Hana smiled but shook her head, Not today unnie Im feeling a little queasy.Out of no where, Min Woo popped out of nowhere, scaring Hana.

Are you okay? Feeling queasy? Do you have a cold again? He asked nonstop.

Hana sheepishly laughed and shook her head, I just have a small headache. Im going to go home and restHere, Ill take you home.Min Woo oppa! Boa started running towards Min Woo.

Hey Boa! I didnt think you would make it! Min Woo said, giving Boa a hug, You came at the end of the showAw, I missed your performance then Boa said, sadly, slowly pushing Hana further away from Min Woo and Hyori.

Congrats unnie! Boa said, hugging Hyori.

Congrats to you too! You got best dance MV.Hyori smiled and the noticed Hana was going into her van.
