PrefaceThe guiding principle in writing this book was to create a set of Test papers for students-A test paper that presents the material in a way that they learn to solve all thequestions of Organic Chemistry in conceptual and sequencial way.In Test paper we mixed all our teaching experience of 12 years along with theoraticaland experimental knowledge to generate a series of test paper for all students to reasontheir way to a solution rather than memorize a multitude of facts, hoping they don’t runout of memory.This Test paper covers 24 papers with all type of questions which can give you a clearcutpicture of subject that you must know before examination. Salicylic acid is a monohydroxybenzoic acid, a type of phenolic acid and a β-hydroxy acid . It has theformula C7H6O3. This colourless crystalline organic acid is widely used in organic synthesis andfunctions as a plant hormone. It is derived from the metabolism of salicin. In addition to being animportant active metabolite of aspirin, which acts in parts as a prodrug to salicyclic acid, it is probablybest known for its use as a key ingredient in topical anti-acne products.
