DESCRIPTION
I am 1 of 4 stresses that every adults knows a child that they can invest in, show respect and be a support to. This resouces it to get adults thinking about who they have the opportunity to protect and how they can be part of a child's netork of support. The goal is to equip every child with at least four adults they trust so that they are kept safe. If one adult respectfully cares about one child, all children can be kept safe.TRANSCRIPT

Respects a child’s right and need to express thoughts and feelings openly.
Understands a child’s need for safe, healthy boundaries- “I don’t want a hug (kiss, touch, etc.) right now (or at all!)”
Believes a child when they “disclose” a boundary violation- “I believe you!” is an important message in keeping a child safe!
Takes Action by engaging other trusted adults to assist and protect the child.
