Groundwork supplies the Hydraulic Rock Drilling Attachment specifically designed for high speed drilling in shallow and challenging terrain.

Being a Crawler Mounted attachment this model is articulate and can fulfil a multitude of drilling applications, including civil foundations, mining operations, rock anchoring, solar plant foundations and other requirements. Wherever rock drilling is required, whether it be in undulated terrain, ungraded land or difficult terrain, this model is the ideal machine.

This attachment is electro-hydraulic proportion controlled and can be fitted to any crawler excavator. The complete attachment is designed to be modular and can be fitted to almost the base excavator without any major permanent modifications. The base excavator can return to the original bucket operation in under 60 minutes.

All the operations are controlled from inside the machine by the operator using a standard joystick, with a new custom grip.

Optional provision can be made for:1. Wired External Remote,2. Wireless Radio Remote Control,3. Electronic Mast alignment systems,4. Auto Sensing Automatic PUSH to Drill Feature among other possibili-ties.

This machine has been designed with 7 degrees of movement freedom to reach any drilling point within design reach. With selected tooling, almost all rock and terrain conditions can be drilled or augured.

DTH Tooling Package (Standard)· Integrated pneumatic direct acting control to switch on / off the DTH Hammer.· In line pneumatic lubrication system. 15 Litres oil capacity.· Hydraulic Rotary Head of 2500 Nm torque @ 200 bar and 75 - 125 RPM.· Bottom guide to suit supplied hammer.

DTH Hammer Package (Depending on Customer Requirements)· DTH hammer system to run 300 mm Dia bit.· Base Extension of 1 meter.· Rod line Extension of 0.5 meter length. Total 2.5 meter to give drilling of 2 meter. AIR Required Only 1100 cfm x 350 PSI.· Drill Bit of 300 mm dia with tungsten carbide bits. 1 nos· Tools to service and support the hammer.

Optional:· Radio Remote Control.· Intelligent drilling package.· Higher Pull out forces package Dual Hydraulic motor Rotary head with torque till 5000 NM in lieu of Single Motor Rotary head.· Bigger hammer dia also available for faster drilling with bigger compressor of 1600 x 350 Air extra in lieu of the Hammer proposed above.· Hydraulic Mast Dump package 500 mm.
