A flexible framework consisting of four main phases has been taken into consideration: requirements engineering, architecture design, project planning, and product development. Theoretically, they are presented in a sequential mode but, in practice, they are highly iterative.

Since 2006 we got involved in different global distributed software development projects and we considered the model-driven requirements engineering as offering important benefits that help overcome some of the issues related to communication, coordination, and control. If the development methodologies treat the architecture only indirectly or implicitly, the quality of the complex systems developed using such methodologies largely depends on the skill level and experience of its architect.

Software Development Process in HyperMediaOur project manager uses the requirements specifications and the architecture, as well as the module specifications to generate a project plan. The project managers perform risk analyses, define proposed project strategies, do incremental release planning, and generate the development plan Estimation methods are also used to determine the effort and schedule to implement the product.
