Now exports to KMZ for Google Earth

• KMZ contains zipped support files.• Previously exported to KML

KML files didn’t contain support files. If you e-mail someone a KML file, they

won’t be able to display the supporting TIF, DXF or XYZ data.

If you e-mail someone a KMZ file, they can see everything!

VDATUM routine for RTK TIDES can now determine a value if less than four nodes of a cell are populated.

• In early versions, if one of the corners of a VDATUM cell had no value (-999.00), SURVEY would not generate a VDATUM result.

• Now it can work with only one corner with a value!

Pre-modeling rotations to get better detail on vertical faces

Before creating the TIN, your data is projected onto a 2D surface. This can create problems when you have vertical walls, as data points with vastly different z-values get projected near the same point.

By rotating the model before projecting it onto the 2D surface, you can get a better model in vertical areas.

In Modify – 3D TIN, rotate your tin so that all data points will project onto a 2D surface. Then re-generate the TIN
