The latest Wetrok coup is nothing less than a revolution on the market: A family of products based entirely on granulates: Granuline. Easy to handle sticks each containing the right amount of product are now available to simplify everyday cleaning jobs. Small, easy and safe – these are the adjectives that single out Granuline products as unique. Massive savings in storage and transport costs are guaranteed.

Good to know – Our patentThe process for manufacturing Granuline is patent protected. Granuline works just like a magnet. A magnet attracts certain bodies. In the very same way, Granuline attracts the molecules of dirt particles and captures them within the cleaning solution. Solid active cleaning substances are combined with electrosteric molecules. These molecules moisten the surface and draw the dirt particles directly into the cleaning solution.

We recommend washing all textiles without fabric softener or bleaching agent at 60°C and drying them gently at 55°C. This will ensure a long service life for our products. Higher temperatures will reduce their service life considerably. Fabric softeners and bleaching agents will damage the fine microfibres. We recommend washing and drying microfibres and cotton fabrics separately, as cotton fibres have a tendency to lodge in the microfibres. Due to their abrasive properties, microfibres are not suitable for particularly sensitive surfaces such as acrylic glass and screens.

The test results have confi rmed that the Wetrok Masslinn dust-binding cloths can be highly recommended for dust-binding mopping.”

About 80% of soiling in buildings comes in the form of dust. Wet/sticky dirt only accounts for a small proportion of soiling. Dust can carry almost all known micro-organisms and acts as a carrier of such dangerous micro-organisms as MRSA. This means that throwing up dust during mopping or vacuuming must be prevented at any cost.

Tested quality

During strict comparative tests, the Masslinn and Microsol cloths were tested both in the laboratory and in fi eld tests, proving a signifi cant reduction in germ numbers and very high cleaning performance.

Good to know – Dust-binding moppingDust harbours germs. When dust is agitated and made airborne, it carries germs and distributes them around the room. Moisture and warmth offer ideal conditions for microorganisms to thrive. The basic rule for fl awless hygienic cleaning results is therefore: Always use a Masslinn or Microsol cloth to remove germ-ridden dust before any wet mopping.

• Microorganisms that adhere to loose dust are distributed across the fl oor during wet mopping, in effect creating ideal conditions for germ colonisation.

• Micro-organisms cannot reproduce without moisture.

That is why dry dust-binding should always be preferred and subsequent wet mopping is advised only for stubborn dirt!

We ensure the pre-defi ned quality demanded of our mops through the use of our standardised test processes. The information on our quality labels regarding wash cycles, water and dirt absorption as well as abrasiveness helps you fi nd the right product for the job at hand quickly and easily.

Wash cycle

The wash cycle for the relevant textile indicates how long the expected service life of the textile in question will be if the recommended wash cycles* are followed and the product is used in a normal manner.

Water absorption

Water absorption is an especially important criterion if you are using indirect wet mopping to ensure that you are leaving the fl oor with as little remaining water as possible.

Abrasiveness

The abrasive qualities of products indicates their ability to remove stubborn soiling. Due to their split surface structure, microfi bre textiles are always more abrasive, yet without damaging fl oor coverings. Bristles and similar yarns will help with scrubbing.

Dirt absorption

Dirt absorption indicates how much dirt can be absorbed by the textile. Microfi bres have the property of tending to bind to fi ne dirt, while loops within the textile can trap rougher dirt particles.

Gliding properties

For effective and ergonomic cleaning, the gliding properties of the cleaning textile are a decisive factor. The better the gliding performance the more ergonomic wet mopping is for the user due to the lower level of resistance encountered.

Good to know – Microfi bresYarn thickness can be a hundredth of that of a hair. Due to the close intermeshing of their yarns, microfi bres retain their shape very well and also offer superior abrasion resistance as well as a very fi ne and soft structure. Their very large total surface area is what makes them such great performers in cleaning. They take in dirt particles and bind them into their fi bres. The air pockets between the fi bres and their capillary effect are responsible for the material’s excellent water absorption properties. This effect, however, also removes oil from oiled surfaces. For this reason, microfi bres should not be used on oiled fl oors. Microfi bres provide the best results when they are only moistened, rather than used completely wet. Fabric softeners, bleaching agents and washing or drying at excessively hot temperatures will damage fi ne fi bres, affecting their properties and considerably shortening their service life.

We recommend washing all textiles without fabric softener or bleaching agent at 60°C and drying them gently at 55°C. This will ensure a long service life for our products. Higher temperatures will reduce their service life considerably. We recommend washing and drying microfi bres and cotton fabrics separately, as cotton fi bres have a tendency to lodge in the microfi bres.
