Camground ReservationsReservations for Loops A & B at Hyatt Lake Campground, and Wildcat Campground may be made at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance. Reservations are not accepted less than 1 day in advance. Reservations for Horsecamp are made through the BLM Medford District Office at 541-618-2200.
Group Site ReservationsReservations for the Mountain View Group Shelter, Osprey Kitchen and Cascade Meadows Group Tent sites may be made at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance. Reservations are not accepted less than 1 day in advance.
SeasonSituated at 5000 ft. elevation in the Cascade Mountains, campgrounds generally open in mid May and close for the season at the end of October.
Nestled among towering firs and pines in the northern corner of the Bureau of Land Management’s Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, Hyatt Lake Campground is situated at 5000 ft. elevation on Hyatt Lake. The Hyatt Lake Recreation Area offers the only developed camping within the Monument.
From Interstate 5, take Exit 14 in Ashland, Oregon. Turn on Highway 66 toward Klamath Falls. Follow Highway 66 for 17 miles until you reach the Green Springs Inn. Turn north onto the Bureau of Land Management’s East Hyatt Lake Road. Follow the road for approximately 3 miles until you reach the Hyatt Lake Recreation Area; veer right towards the entrance station.
Hyatt Lake CampgroundHyatt Lake Campground has 54 campsites, ranging from small RV sites to drive-in and walk-in tent sites. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, a fish-cleaning station, and 2 boat ramps with dock facilities. No electrical, water, or sewer hookups are available. Disabled access is limited. Loops A & B are by reservation, loop C is first-come first-serve.
Wildcat Campground For a more primitive camping experience, Wildcat Campground has 12 campsites with hand-pumped water and vault restrooms. Sites are reservation only.
Horse CampHorse Camp has a vault restroom and 5 sites, each with corrals. An access trail from this area connects riders directly to the PCT. Equestrian and stock users are encouraged to feed certified weed-free feed 24 hours prior to arrival.
Mountain View Group ShelterThe Mountain View Group Shelter, overlooking Hyatt Lake, accommodates up to 150 people. It is equipped with an electric stove, running water, tables, and a large fireplace. Sites are reservation only.
Cascade Meadows Group SiteCascade Meadows Group Site has capacity for up to 60 people, is equipped with a vault restroom, and accomodates RVs and tent camping. The campsite does not have electricity. Sites are reservation only. Osprey KitchenOsprey Kitchen is a group camping and day-use area with a covered cooking area, grill, group fire ring, and walk-in tent sites. Accomodates up to 40 people. Sites are reservation only.

Rules & Safety
• Be a good neighbor. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. Please be courteous to your neighbors.
• Camping is limited to 14 days within a 90-day time period.
• Fishing is allowed on all shorelines except the swimming access point and boat launching areas.
• Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times within all campground areas.
• Parking on park roads and shoulders is prohibited, please use overflow parking areas.
• For visitor safety, the lake has a no wake, 10 mph speed limit.
• Swim at your own risk! Foot protection, life vests, and supervision of children is recommended.
