– Hydrocarbons refrigerants actually present fewer risks to users and service technicians than second generation refrigerants (R134a)

• Well established systems and processes are in place to use hydrocarbons safely. They have been used in all kinds of applications for hundreds of years, and are one of the most well understood chemicals on earth.
