Update

CLEAN AIR ACT OF 1990 Most air conditioning and heat pumps use CFC and HCFC compounds as refrigeration mediums. New federal regulations regarding these substances impose strict guidelines regarding safe and responsible production and handling. New taxes have been imposed on as escalated scale. All in all, it is much more expensive to replace or transfer refrigerants today. Most refrigerant system leaks occur due to vibration, corrosion or extreme pressure and temperatures. It is of utmost importance that machinery-containing refrigerants be tested, inspected, and serviced on a routine basis. Minor corrections often prevent major repairs. ADVANTAGE AIR service department requires that all service technicians maintain certification in refrigerant handling, recovery, and recycling. You can be assured that all our service department mechanical technicians have certified licenses for the service and recovery of CFC and HCFC refrigerants.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY STANDARDS

Recent developments at the state and national level have brought about changes or proposed changes in ventilation codes. ADVANTAGE AIR is staying abreast of these changes and will be able to offer the surveys and design concepts necessary to meet regulation that may be required in the future. At present, there is a movement afoot to require building owners to document Scheduled Service and comply with air quality standards. The documentation we furnish as part of our Scheduled Service agreement is tailored to enable building owners to meet the conditions, which are presently being sought by pending legislation.

H.V.A.C. SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Welcome to the Advantage Air Scheduled Service Program. This program is based on our exclusive Advantage Air Service Checklist, the most comprehensive, heating and cooling Scheduled Maintenance Program available in the St Louis area today. Just compare our extended checklist to any other in the H.V.A.C. field, and the difference is very clear. What others choose to ignore, Advantage Air specializes in.

- Louisiana State University and Gulf States Utilities found that businesses can save $30.00 per month just by making sure that their air conditioning or heat pump system is serviced on a regular schedule. - Texas A&M University found that a 23% system undercharge could result in a 52% efficiency loss. That equals $.52 for every dollar spent on H.V.A.C. energy costs being wasted. - Well maintained units usually reward owners with lower overall operating costs. This equals lower and fewer repair bills and lower energy costs. When on a scheduled maintenance service program with Advantage Air all repairs are discounted 10% (Unless noted otherwise in service booklet) Blower motor drive belts will be replaced as needed at no additional cost.* (*)= Under normal use with a Schedule Service Program from Value Heating. (See equipment list for included equipment.) To service the units on a semi-annual Scheduled Maintenance Program, the investment would breakdown to $________ per Scheduled Service visit, for a yearly total of $________. Enclosed in the presentation folder is an outline of the checklist for your review. If you would like a personalized program with your ideas and suggestions implemented, please have no hesitation in contacting me. Thank you ADVANTAGE AIR, LLC.
